lol. I hope Dak walks. Watching you guys whining even more watching guys like Cooper Rush or some street free agent starting instead. Too funny.

Best part is that if a rookie came in, won ROY honors, team went 13-3 and had a QB rating of over 100, they would be calling him the next Tom Brady. LOL

Jason Garrett might beat you twice next year. Then what?

Imagine....he just went 6-0 against the Giants, so what if he goes 2-0 next year against the Cowboys?

If he turns Jones and Barkley and that offense into a high-scoring offense, this place will go nuts.

JG isn’t beating us....he plays checkers

Anyone who follows you knows your love for Garrett and how laughably wrong you have been.
Yes, Garrett was my favorite puppet. And I didn’t have hope Jerry would ever hire outside that scope.

But we’ve been down this road before with Parcells with no better results. The verdict is still out. Jerry could still screw it up.

Of course they do if they’ve lost all hope with Jerry. It was a mockery for me against Jerry who has always been my target. And you’d of known that if you’d of followed the last dozen years.

I’m assuming you’ve been a fan through all the other puppets last couple decades? Or maybe you haven’t?

I have hated every coach since Jimmy Johnson. Parcells almost as much as Garrett.

Your whole loving puppet nonsense is pathetic and laughable.

Mocking jerry and defending your hero Garrett against anyone that didn't like him are two different things.

No one likes Jerry, no one.

That’s how I’ve survived thru it all without any hope. If not I’d prob have walked away out of disgust.

I truly never believed Jerry would be forced to go against his preference. I thank Troy and the local media ponied up. I’m still numb and in disbelief.

I thought it would take empty seats or loss of revenue but public ridicule finally got him. All of these years I’ve campaigned against him with boycotts , etc . And all we needed was Troy embarrassing him.

I disagree. Every single one of these guys were playmakers in college. They are capable. They just need the right scheme. Playing 10 yards off your receiver and expecting turnovers in a bend but don't break defenses not going to cut it.
Ok...the scheme does blow. The soft zone was maddening under Rod.

What this team needs is a pass rush up the GUT. Good things will typically happen for the secondary. That was the only way teams beat Brady in his prime.

And it’s too bad they didn’t get Adams. I get the asking price was silly. Let’s hope this FO finally drafts a difference maker back there.

I truly believed that was as good as it was going to get. Jerry showed no signs of giving in.

And if we were going to be stuck with puppets then Garrett was one I could get behind . Much more than Wade, Campo or Gailey type because of Jason’s Cowboy history.

...I dont know about a disaster, but surely interesting situations should play out. Lets hope the coaches can give input who to check in and out.

I trust MM knows good football players when he see's them. That could be the difference going into next year.

Dak could have been mentioned in the same type rhetoric if he took us to a championship game then a Super Bowl.

If Mahomes had fizzled out in first round of playoffs he wouldn’t be hailed as high . Much like the Buzz around Jackson simmered down after Ravens were knocked out in their 1st playoff game.

Winning in the playoffs and beyond elevates QB’s to new status. It’s what foiled Romo. No success in the playoffs. And it will foil Dak as well if he never succeeds in playoffs.

Next year we're in the NFC Championship game. Keep the doom and gloom.

Agreed on the core, but notice a trend there? No great players younger than LVE. 2 of the last 3 drafts have been really bad. The Taco draft and last year. The TREND must get back on track this year if we are to maintain a window.

And we honestly cant afford to trade #1 picks anymore for top players. Need those low salary studs for 4 or 5 years.

Yea. Unfortunately only player around Lves age is Gallup buts in the good category not great, yet

Brand new coaches. Now's probably a good time to change course with this roster, too.

It's ugly around here right now.

Cooper looks like a bad signing waiting to happen. Some teams are going to overpay for Byron Jones and Anthony Brown. Zeke looks noticeably slower and aging fast. Jaylon's contract was a woeful mistake. Quinn is probably gone. LVE looks like he's not long for the football world. Byron and Zack have back issues, which seldom get better. Frederick is still recovering from something only Vulcan's can pronounce. Dak isn't worth more than $25 million per year, if that. Safety and defensive tackle are still gaping holes. Tight end remains a big question. We don't even have a reliable punter and kicker.

Now, enter Jerry's band of re-tread coaches. Now at 20 and counting. Are we going to hire a left guard coach next? Do any of them know magic?

Next year smells bad. Like 7-9 bad. Even worse, the roster looks to be regressing and aging rapidly. The window may have already closed on this bunch.

So what now? Scheme can't fix this as much as some want. It's highly unlikely that there's a bag of plays and coverages that will fix what we witnessed last year. This team needs players, different ones, and a lot of them.

Or, somehow this franchise needs to start stockpiling picks and devise a way to build the next contender. You have to be aggressive because these days, rebuilds are three-year projects, not five. Free agency won't allow anything longer.

Yet, the Cowboys keep trying to play the middle. Not aggressive in free agency, and not aggressive in rebuilding. Just treading water.

There is no easy answer here. The Cowboys are between the rock and the proverbial hard place. Do they suffer the PR hit of deconstruction, or do they press on and dump untold millions on the likes of Dak, Cooper, Jones, Quinn, and the very necessary other free agents to make this work? They should choose the former, though they'll likely choose the latter. Jerry's days are dwindling.

We just witnessed perhaps the ugliest season in Cowboys history. Subtract the Rams game, and what exactly happened? They lost the most winnable NFC East in history. They basically blew bunny layups all year long after a 3-0 start.

It ain't good.
Foretelling of gloom and doom seems to be your forte. I bet you are a blast at parties.

Yeah lots not even suit up erod. For the first time in 10+ years there is something to be excited about, ultimate naysayers go off the deep end even worse. Look, I've been down since about 2013 because of Garrett but giving up already with a new coaching staff is just ridiculous....truth is, you absolutely haven't the faintest idea (you just think you do) of how this team is going to perform or look next season.... If anything, that is something to actually be happy about for once..
