Uhh yeah, that was me. And you "liked" the post. Lol.

Okay....fine. And?

It actually makes perfect sense, in a way. In a weird way.

What's the deal with "supercilious"? Who uses that? Accept for some cork sniffin' Higgins looking, weirdo. :)

How about the "10" part? You know...when I said you would not accept zero and raised it to ten? What about THAT part?

To remind you, Here is what I said that you totally ignored...you are too easy dude...I predicted you would not accept zero..and went to ten...and you skipped right over it in your penchant to argue with people.

Here is what I said...so what about the 10?

Cowboy Lover said:
It wasn't a singular measurement. It was a comparative measurement.

In case it hasn't been brought to your attention....this is how it works. Let's say Mahomes is 0..as in zero. That is the starting point. If Dak were not as good as Mahomes....he would have a negative rating.

You with me so far?

Okay fine...let's say Mahomes is a "10". Some might say in more ways than one. :) ) And someone feels Mahomes is more than 10 times the QB Dak is...well..Dak sits at less than zero.

I am not saying I concur. Just trying to give you some basic metrology about it.
The 10 part? lol You mean about "someone saying" Mahomes is more than 10 times better? The mere act of "someone saying" that doesn't mean it makes sense. No comparison is no comparison. That's as far apart as it gets. There is no less than no comparison.

Besides, if you know math, if Dak were a negative, then multiplying Dak by ten would make Mahomes ten times more of a negative.

Only in Dallas do Romo lovers think a great QB needs the best OL in the game.
Only in Dallas do Dak lovers think a great QB needs a great defense.

Farve and Rodgers never had a great OL or Run Game in GB. They did have great to above average defenses, but both did great things without that as well.

Wilson and Brady have won with average to below average OLs, very spotty run games recently, and with very weak/thin receiving corps.

I liked Romo, but he had more at the receiver, TE, and RB than most QBs ever have, and he didn’t get it done. So far, Dak has had a great run game, below average receivers until the last two years when he’s had excellent receivers, a very good OL, but not much at WR, and he hasn’t gotten it done either.

The fighting over Romo/Dak is so stupid. Unless Dak QBs a team to the NFC championship game, they are just very good QBs who will never be considered great.

The 10 part? lol. as to that i would say check your math. If Mahomes is a 10, and he is 10 times better than Dak, that would make Dak a 1, not a negative number. Of course, now I see you are talking about "someone" saying Mahomes is more than 10 times better, but tthe mere act of "someone" making that kind of comment doesn't mean it makes sense. No comparison is no comparison. That's as far apart as it gets. There is no less than no comparison.

Is English your second language? I said..."MORE THAN 10 TIMES". If mahomes was 10 times better than Dak...dak would be a 1. But if Mahomes was MORE than 10 times better than dak...dak would be a zero or worse...a ///gasp...NEGATIVE!

You just don't get ratios and comparisons.

But I must admit.....we've lost track of of the point. erod said "less than nothing", NOT "no comparison". . You claimed he "failed math". Math accounts for "less than nothing".

And...so here we are. sigh.

I just don’t think he was one of the top quarterbacks of his era.
I don't know what you'd consider "his era," but Romo's one of the top QB of the last 40 years.

Lol, you flunked math. 10 times a negative is a negative, so if Mahomes is10 times a negative he is more of a negative.

As for English, you flunked the logic portion, right? You seem to think that someone saying Mahomes is 10 times better just makes it so, and creates a real world math equation, when it’s really just something someone said that has no measurable substance. Plus you seem to think that just because you can create a negative on paper means that applies to everything. The reality is if you have 3 oranges, you cannot take away 4 oranges and create a negative number of oranges That’s the difference between reality and simply what someone says.

I'd wager the vast majority of his peers and the GMs in the league considered Romo a very good QB who was well capable of winning a SB or two. It's only anti-Dallas fans, fans of other teams, and for some odd reason, anti-Romo Dallas fans that are so adamant at putting him down.

Romo is the epitome of meritocracy. The anti-Garrett. He sat on the bench, learned, and earned a job as a undrafted free agent to become one of the highest rated QBs in the league ever. Unfortunately, like other great players he failed to win a SB for a number of reasons, mostly due to organizational and coaching ineptitude. He's an exceptional athlete: great at basketball, golf, and at football. Now he's taken his talents to the booth to become one of the best, if not the best, color commentator in the game.

How anyone puts this guy down simply baffles me. The only thing I am of him is jealous.

Some fans grew tired of Romo getting launched into HOF status AFTER he retired. Just to take shots at Prescott.

And yet...here you are arguing with me about it. I'd say, at the very least... you yourself are in the same boat you put me in.

A banker would disagree with you about your oranges. And would indeed try to recoup his one orange we said we'd owe that we never had. A negative. It's called debt...underwater....in the red. All that is in the negative. Even LIGHT and GRAVITY....acknowledge negative. Math and nature and light have negatives.

Like I said...we lost sight of the original argument. That is what people do when they know they are wrong and won;t admit it. It was YOU who first argued a person that acknowledged "less than zero"..."failed math". When math acknowledges less than zero.

You can spin and throw shade and do all the things the internet allows...but in that...you cannot escape. You are wrong. Very simple: Math, accountants, nature...allows for negatives. So sorry for your loss.

You do not fail math when you acknowledge negatives. You fail life when you keep defending the accusation of it.

He needn't apologize for being polysyllabic.

So...when do people get launched into HOF status? After they retire? And are they ALL only to take shots at Dak? Or do you just take them all that way?

he most certainly does not. But...don't accuse me of trying to appear to be superior to others...whilst trotting out a polysyllabic word he knows nobody uses ever. At least most certainly not...HERE.
