When teams hire new coaches, players on those teams sometimes give a ring to players who played for those coaches in the past to get a sense of what it is like to play for them. That won't be...

Given the drama and family/friends baggage around Rodgers, it would be like calling up your new girlfriend's delinquent ex and asking about her character - it's useless and probably would do more harm than good.

Rodgers can take a long walk off a short pier for all I care.

ummm why would he call Aaron Rodgers. Did you see the Play-off performance. Missing open WRs, underthrowing RBs and TEs....We all know Franchise QBs never have accuracy issues:facepalm:

Aaron Rodgers doesn't even talk to his own family, and he has sociopathic tendencies imo. If I was Dak, I wouldn't bother calling him either.
Who knows what the story is there. For all we know, Rodgers' family was privately a nightmare.

It's very common for celebrities to cut ties with family when it turns out family is stealing money from them or trying to run hustles to exploit their connection to them. Or they might've even privately blamed him for not waving a magic wand to use his status in the NFL to sprinkle some fairy dust on his brother when Jordan Rodgers was trying to latch on with a playing career. Or it could just go back to something that predates his NFL career.

We don't know what the family dynamics were.

Nothing wrong with cutting people out of your life, even family, if you feel like they're detracting from your life instead of adding to it.

I certainly understand that when someone becomes rich [and famous] there can be certain situations that would lead them to cut ties with family and friends; however, all of his family members have said the same thing - they don't exactly know what happened. It was around the time when Aaron started dating Olivia Munn and his parents didn't think she was 'in it for the right reasons'.

Ok, I get it - some dudes choose their gf over their family, especially guys that act like Aaron Rodgers (pompous d-bags, to put it nicely). I could really careless about him or his family; however, there's one thing that bothered me because I lived in California in 2018 during the wildfires (I was about 10 miles from the biggest wildfire in Ventura county). Rodgers tweeted that he donated $1m to help out or whatever, then both of his brothers proceeded to tweet & basically called him a piece of shlt because he never even bothered to call his parents to check to make sure they were ok (they had to evacuate due to said wildfires). I think it's just a testament to his character - Aaron Rodgers only gives a shlt about Aaron Rodgers.

Considering that Rodgers basically had McCarthy fired, why would Dak talk to Rodgers about him. His biased view is not one Dak should be interested in.

Aaron Rodgers is a egotistical self centered sob which has problems with his own family and some sportswriter makes a big deal because Prescott doesn't want to ask a person like that about a former coach? If Rodgers can't even get along with his own family what value would his opinion of McCarthy be.

It's my understanding that Rodgers was raised in an extremely religious family, and he disagrees with that way of life, and they're not accepting of his ideals. I can't stand Smirky McDbag, but he has a right to choose his own path.

I for one could care less. I’m excited to see what McCarthy does for Dak, an already “good” QB. He’s not great, but statistically he’s one of the better.

Let’s find out our brand new path before playing “what if” games.

“No, not at all,” Prescott said. “I don’t care to get a feel from somebody else off of their judgment or their relationship. I know relationships are completely individual and I don’t even want to warp my mind off of what somebody else thinks.”

Can one of you fellow Dak Haters help me out? I’m looking for a way to interpret this quote in a way that allows me to use it against Dak. I’m trying but the words just won’t come to me.

I’ve got a couple of angles I’m tinkering with

  1. Laziness - This could be interpreted as Dak not being serious about improving his game. Rodgers is one of the greatest of all time.
  2. Leadership - Dak, I’d he really wants to be the leader of this team, should learn everything he can shortcomings in his head coach so that he can be prepared to “step up” and “call out Jerry’s” puppet”
  3. Dumb - Simms asked Dak if he was going to “give Rodgers a call.” Dak said no, but it wasn’t for the reasons in his quote above. It was because he’s too dumb to know how to use a phone
  4. Liar - It’s just a lie. I can tell because of what I see in his eyes on Sundays
Again, any of you kindred spirits who hate Dak like I do, help me out. I need ammo for my future posts.

Let me go ahead and get these in here for those who might need some help

Smart guy. I know in my own life perception given by others and their relationship with a boss or supervisor tends to be much different than my own. Everyone knows of Rodgers and McCarthy falling out. No need to walk into a situation where you let someone else’s own bias affect you
