That’s something only a dork that never played football would think a QB should do.
Haha, I know right!

In this case though it was former QB Chris Simms who played for Texas and five years in the NFL

he fancies himself as an unconventional off-the-wall type of interviewer though so I guess he asks stupid questions just for the clicks.

What I find interesting is Rodgers would say he did not like McCarthy play calling so he changed the plays. Yet takes no responsibility of his own for losing. Was it McCarthy play calling that cost the Pack or the fact it was Rodgers play calling that cost the pack?

Who knows what the story is there. For all we know, Rodgers' family was privately a nightmare.

It's very common for celebrities to cut ties with family when it turns out family is stealing money from them or trying to run hustles to exploit their connection to them. Or they might've even privately blamed him for not waving a magic wand to use his status in the NFL to sprinkle some fairy dust on his brother when Jordan Rodgers was trying to latch on with a playing career. Or it could just go back to something that predates his NFL career.

We don't know what the family dynamics were.

Nothing wrong with cutting people out of your life, even family, if you feel like they're detracting from your life instead of adding to it.

You’re right and I totally agree. Sometimes you just need to cut people out of your life.

In his case though, a lot of it is pretty public and while we can’t ever truly know, it doesn’t look good.

I remember his brother calling him out for what he saw as Aaron’s public media grandstanding about helping fire victims in California when he didn’t even reach out to help his own mother evacuate when they were going to be burned out.

I don’t know about you but unless the woman abused him for years, she’s still his mother and if you have a hundred million, you wouldn’t even have to talk to her. Send 6 guys in a couple of moving vans and move her out tonight.

Could have been a lie but it was more than one who said it and with everything else that’s out there about him, it’s kinda hard to give him the benefit of the doubt.

There’s really no one with anything good to say about him. Just speculation but I wonder if he’s happy? Money makes things easier but it doesn’t solve every problem

I’m not even a Dak fan and that’s stupid. There’s no need to call another QB and ask, “Hey, what is it like to play QB for McCarthy?”. Good, professional call.
Why bother calling someone he doesn’t know? You are looking for reasons now lol

Why would he? If they aren't friends in the first place I couldn't imagine calling him. Dak will learn all about MM soon.

How stupid. Rodgers hasn't played for Big Mike since he was fired and spent a year reflecting and studying film. What the hell could Arrogant Rodgers tell him?

What a nice way yo start off a relationship. "I love you darling and I am not going to call your arrogant self-centered ex husband to find out what kind of wife you were".

There are too many stupid people writing too many stupid things because there are too many people writing about off season football. It is not a year round sport.

McCarthy is 3-8-1 without Rodgers. It’s the absolute worst among the SB winning coaches.

Aaron Rodgers doesn't even talk to his own family, and he has sociopathic tendencies imo. If I was Dak, I wouldn't bother calling him either.
Agreed. Not a lot of people have a glowing opinion about the man. Other than those like Stephen A. Who lives on sucking him off.

the rest of the family is good, he is the black sheep

apparently it is over religion, he is anti clerical/religion and they are big time Christian types

ummm why would he call Aaron Rodgers. Did you see the Play-off performance. Missing open WRs, underthrowing RBs and TEs....We all know Franchise QBs never have accuracy issues:facepalm:
Say it again for the people in the back
