We had a couple in the 90's. Woodson and Marion were both ball hawks. Dont know if I would classify James Washington as a ball hawk, but he did create turnoversthis team has not had a ball hawk safety since the maybe dennis thruman who played in the eighties. the early nineties the safety play was good at getting interceptions but since then nothing.
Neither did our head coach. Figures he brought in MarinelliSome of the problem was scheme but it really is a mentality
Sometimes you have to gamble and Rod didn’t like gambling
Need more Thurman's Thieves and less just knock the ball down safetiesthis team has not had a ball hawk safety since the maybe dennis thruman who played in the eighties. the early nineties the safety play was good at getting interceptions but since then nothing.

We'll see. It's a lot easier to say it than it is to do it.
I don't think he brought in Marinelli.Neither did our head coach. Figures he brought in Marinelli
No Rod and Scott were Garrett hires.I don't think he brought in Marinelli.
I think Marinelli was brought in by someone else and Jason swallowed it.
Especially after the Rob Ryan debacle.
I dunno...Good interview...I like most of the coaches. He did say X. Woods was dynamic n explosive, so I'm a bit concerned about those comments. Make no mistake about it this staff n scouting group needs to go out and bring legitimate Safeties to the team we with the intention of them starting.
Nobody in the secondary deserves or has earned star treatment...they all should have to compete vs highly competent players.
Scott? My memory fails me.No Rod and Scott were Garrett hires.
Also Rod came with Monte. So Jason Garrett went from hiring Rob Ryan who is on the far end of one spectrum to an ancient fossil on the opposite end of said teeter-totter?No Rod and Scott were Garrett hires.
Yawnnnnnnn
