this team has not had a ball hawk safety since the maybe dennis thruman who played in the eighties. the early nineties the safety play was good at getting interceptions but since then nothing.
We had a couple in the 90's. Woodson and Marion were both ball hawks. Dont know if I would classify James Washington as a ball hawk, but he did create turnovers

Yeah i was like ummm Woodson and Marion......But man the safety position really haven't received much love from us. Especially in the last decade.

Good interview...I like most of the coaches. He did say X. Woods was dynamic n explosive, so I'm a bit concerned about those comments. Make no mistake about it this staff n scouting group needs to go out and bring legitimate Safeties to the team we with the intention of them starting.

Nobody in the secondary deserves or has earned star treatment...they all should have to compete vs highly competent players.

I dunno...
Not about bringing in good competition!
But I think X would be better served with a more aggressive scheme.
His talents would be better utilized.

No Rod and Scott were Garrett hires.
Also Rod came with Monte. So Jason Garrett went from hiring Rob Ryan who is on the far end of one spectrum to an ancient fossil on the opposite end of said teeter-totter?
