I left my numbers at work, but I compared Daks 4 years to Brady, Brees, Roethlisberger, and Peyton Manning...some didnt start for a couple of years so I started thier first four seasons starting...you would probably be surprised at the results...I bring this up because I see people saying how he will never be a Brees or a Brady...well he is off to a better start than and since we are in the business of comparing him to other QB's we might as well compare thier stats.

Highest completion percentage but hes inaccurate? Oh wait he dinks and dunks...weird because he was rated 2nd in yrds per attempt and 1st in adjusted yards per attempt although I dont even know what that means.
Ya but with that protection it's easy to wait for recievers to get open...only he was sacked more times than everyone but Roethlisberger...hmmm...oh ya highest qb rating and way less thrown interceptions than those guys. Still not sure how an inaccurate qb throws 97 tds and only 36 ints. Talking about rushing would just be unfair with the guys I'm comparing him to for sure so not going there....so with all that being said...how come so many Dallas "fans" are tearing this guy like he's garbage?

As long as Dak is the QB you will be spending a lot of time blaming everyone around him and you won’t be wrong because he is completely dependent on how others perform.
So if he proves you wrong under the new coaching staff will you stop with this ?

Yes let’s work on that please. And when there’s nothing there take off and then get out of bounds or get down. It drives defenses nuts. Get a little more accurate and your good to go.

By 2021 he will be on somebody's bench.
You said short career, not short stint as a starter. As for the 2021 benching scenario, I would say the only possibility of that is if Dak plays under a franchise tag this season and stinks it up to the extent no other NFL would want him to start.

I think there is a very low chance of that, first because I doubt they Cowboys don't sign him to a new contract, in which case they will be committed for more than just one more year, and second because even if he played under the tag and became a free agent after 2020, there are always teams struggling to find someone who can be a reasonable starting QB., and it's highly unlikely that Dak will play so poorly he wouldn't be better than many of the QBs in the bottom half of the starting QB pool.

He got much better at the deep balls to Gallup especially. He didn’t hit them all but he didn’t overthrow so many like he did years before. It seems like mostly the crossing routes that he throws behind. I absolutely believe he will work on it harder than the haters here work on making ridiculous threads.

His receivers could help a lot by catching the ones that HIT THEM IN THE HANDS!. You didn’t make it to the pros to miss passes that hit your hands.

30 td’s only 11 int’s. 66% completion rate and had the most drops by WR’s of any QB
A lot of those drops were Dak’s fault. Not all but many. Many dropped passes were the direct result of him throwing high and/or behind his receivers. Don’t have the numbers handy but I would be interested to know his ranking in regards to errant “window” throws.

If the drops were Dak’s fault then they wouldn’t be “drops”.

Buy you an axe and find some old tree stumps. Does wonders for getting rid of anger and you end up with some fire wood!

Did not see this posted from SB week.

Good interview with Dak with Chris Sims from NBC Sports.

When I see Dak and not the dollars signs..

I have alot of confidence in him. When the dollar signs start blinking, I start to worry.

But what the heck, ain't my money baby.
