In hindsight what GM wouldn’t say this? Donald is great. At the time he was too small to play DT.

All I know is I'd trade Zach is less than a second for Donald, and so would every other GM.

Zach is a great, GREAT OG, but his value doesn't sniff the value of Donald. An average starting NFL OG wouldn't impact our offense much. Donald would totally change our DL.

I think Jerry is saying the to appease the fans as to why they haven't drafted a true DT difference maker. So it seems like...hey we was going to but it didn't work out...

well 12 others teams let him side, they m,ight all feel that way..look at that draft all before 16 nearly all the players taking before Donald have been traded, hardly play, or were busts..thats a lot of Jags going in the top 10

if memory serves me right, we had Donald , Shazier before martin, settled for martin LOL not bad consolation prize..
