Thought Bloom was retained as a scout like he was originally?

Maybe it's a generational thing, but I'd much rather spend 10 minutes reading an article than 45 minutes listening to someone for 5 minutes of insight. That said, I'd rather deal with JJT's content and
questions than Skip Bayless or Scream A Smith.

Keeping Kellen Moore is a Jerrah decision , he wanted to keep everyone in the offense & Big Mac negotiated that .

Keeping Kellen is a recipe for disaster . Yes indeed . Because its a Jerry move.

It certainly begs the question as to why these former coaches don't have jobs yet, especially considering the widespread coaching changes being made throughout the league this time of year. But then again, it's consistent with former Garrett coaches. They seldom, if ever go on to bigger and better things after their time here.

As for several of those names specifically like Richard, Lal, and Bloom, if we know about their behind the scenes issues in Dallas, you can be sure that other teams in the league know even more than that.

The fact that they don't have other jobs supports JJT's prior claims about the issues in Dallas.

As for Moore and McCarthy, I think just the opposite, a collaboration might be just what the doctor ordered and the best of both worlds that leaves opposing defense clueless as to what might be coming next. As long as the players are smart enough to handle the varied playbook and requirements.

I think he just wants something to talk about
Kris and most of these guys will get jobs
May not get the ones they want but they will get jobs
I think MM kept Moore because it makes a transition easier and he liked what they did last year
Terminology can be over came and that’s why they aren’t changing it
But the difference in the two systems is much more than terminology and that’s why he will bridge those differences over a couple years
With Moore he basically has to teach him and not all the players
Moore is a smart guy and I think it will work fine
My biggest concern is not the staff or play calling but players
Next season will be determined by what they do with the roster more than anything
MM and the guys he hired can create a system that works fine but you have to have talent
Getting the guys is gonna be the biggest challenge and will have the biggest impact on what works than anything else
Bridging the terminology and systems only works if you have talent

Taylor is on to somethings..

I just wish he would say it quicker without all the Jingo talk.

It's annoying.

But as for coaches from Garrett's staff not finding work?

True for sure. Garrett finding work shocked me.but like Garrett, they were all hired by Jerrah. They were a cobbled together bunch of hires not hired my a coach with success at the NFL level.

Jerrah hired Garrett to fulfill Jerrah's ego to coach. But that was out of the question..

so instead, in came Garrett.

Somebody who would accept Jerrah's meddling and make it his own to the outside world. That's why Jerrah could do the locker room reviews of the game with the media before Garrett went to speak to them.

It will be interesting how long McCarthy allows that before he ends that.

I give it about mid season.

As for Moore..I think he is not extended after this year.

By then McCarthy and the shakedown year of the staff will be done.

McCarthy will then take over the play calling to be sure anything not working correctly on offense is tweaked directly.

It's going to be important for McCarthy to control things 100% with no in between communication mistakes.

His job depends on it.

Just my thoughts.

I think the different offensive philosophies will mesh perfectly. McCarthy is too smart to mess that up. I believe in the work he’s been doing to prove the Packers were wrong in firing him.

McCarthy said very complementary things about Moore and basically said he would have wanted to hire him if he took another HC position. Moore has been known in the NFL as a very smart guy for a long time, all the "Jerruh done forced him on MM" is just the typical posts we get here.

I agree, and still have a tough time not thinking that Jerry's plan is to have MM turn things in the right direction, back off a little, then run him out of town and put his hand picked Garrett clone puppet in place.

The stubborn fool still has zero clue that "his way" creates a culture that isnt at all conducive to winning football.
