The question of this post is about bringing another veteran in. There's absolutely no point, especially if you've researched how Mike McCarthy historically uses FB and TEs.

In addition to what I've said above, in almost 20 years of being a head coach/OC, Mike averages 19th in the NFL in rushing attempts. Tightenxs will be blocking a lot less.

It is time for Witten to retire, he has no place on this roster. If you think otherwise, cool, but I don't really give a damn. Save your keystrokes

Ok, I am going to completely disagree with you. The Cowboys will still be running a lot. And getting blocking TE's or a well rounded TE to help do that will be one one of the priorities for the position.

AS far as Witten, he needs to get lost.

I am excited to see Jarwin get 1st team reps all offseason, preseason and then in the regular season. And get him involved down field and you will see this offense way up. Having a playmaking TE does wonders for your offense. They work the middle of the field.

2018...the year Witten retired...Jarwin WAS the man....16 games, 27 receptions, 307 yards, 3 TDs. Witten "the dinosaur", 16 games. 63 receptions, 529 yards and 4 TDs. Jarwin got his chance and did nothing with it.

someone always wants to ask it,...even if the player is old, tired and unable to stay healthy. It's just the way it is. But I'll pass. I want some home grown talent

He's old too. We need to get younger at TE. If we would consider Olsen then we might as well bring back Witten
