I think we all said the same about Romo didn't we? I watched Mahomes and Jimmy G without my beer goggles and saw quite clearly that each QB made some boneheaded inaccurate throws. Well, Jimmy G wasn't very good if we're all being honest, but seriously, watching these games, the winner typically out schemes and out coaches it's opponent, and the QB isn't doing it by himself either.

Skip tries to argue in this clip just how undervalued Dak is, but I think we can all agree that here in Dallas, we basically need them to be the second coming before we allow ourselves to give them credit. It's easy for a fanbase to get behind a guy like Mahomes, he's a very likeable humble guy with loads of talent, but lets make no mistake about it, he is put a great situation surrounded by a supportive front office, and one of the best offensive minds and QB coaches in the game in Reid.

The blame game is something we've all grown accustomed to playing as fans of the Cowboys. The way our team has been structured over the last decade has given too much transparency to all the moving parts. So if the offensive playbook appears to predictable, it's been easy to point fingers at Dak and blame him for not executing. Or moreover, blame the scheme for not running Zeke more.

I do believe that Dak is very under valued, because if you look around the league, Qb's that can stay healthy and do the things Dak can, are a rarity, and let's be honest, our defense was wildly inconsistent all year, and our special teams was abysmal.

Dak is getting criticized because he is going to get paid a lot of money when he is a slightly above mediocre QB.

Good luck winning a Superbowl with a highly paid mediocre QB. We're basically lowering our odds at a championship for a mediocre player.

He’s improved every year. Saying that , all QBs that play in Dallas get criticized more than any other QB. You’re seeing a lot of people now since romo no longer plays saying how good he really was.

A lot of people will tell you that if we can't name the exact new championship QB to replace Dak we must stay with Dak because qb's of his ilk (their words definitely not mine) are hard to find.

I'm glad he's improved every year but most of these QB's are going to the Superbowl on their rookie deal.

He can keep "improving" but he still brings a mediocre brand of football that doesn't win anything.

He's right on his way to being the QB he is compared to.. Alex Smith..

I don't know how he's improved every year when his rookie year is by far his best year. The rest of these years are okay and without that rookie year I think most would be more on board with getting rid of him.

He’s better than Alex Smith and he will be even better next year too. Mahomes is just on another level.

his rookie was great. He caught a lot of people off guard. Sophomore year there was tape on him and he struggled , 3rd yesr he improved. This year his deep ball looked much better. Next year .. Garrett is no longer here lol

If he is better then Alex Smith it is not by much. It's basically splitting hairs.

Dak, Kirk Cousins, Jimmy G, Alex Smith... That's the category he is in.
I’ll agree a with that. But Alex Smith has peaked. Dak still doing whatever he can to improve. I like his work ethic and He is about to enter his prime with much better coaching and in sure Moore will improve as well

I'm just afraid that we won't be able to put together the team around him that we need to win.

We're going to have to get lucky in the draft and we desperately need to find a difference maker on defense.

Look guys, we got quite a bit out of Dak on a incredibly cheap rookie deal. The guy never complained and kept his down and kept working to improve. I would argue that we got a ton out of Dak for what he has been paid! Just look at how much guys like Dlaw got and how he performed! I believe that once Dak is paid you will see an even more focused QB, that is the kind of guy he is.

True but we can work wonders with our cap. We haven’t restructured as much in the past. Offense line are all signed. We currently have 80 million available, Crawford is gone which frees up another 9 million.

Dak isn't doing whatever to improve. He's just young so unlike Smith people still use that excuse for him unlike his football daddy Smith.

I don't think paying him more is going to make him better. Does it really work like that in sports or heck life in general? People usually are who they are regardless of the money ime.

People need to remember what happened to this offense when romo got hurt in 2015. Dak isn’t all pro but he’s above average and is still improving. He was drafted in the 4th round because he’s a darn project player. And so far his play and improvement over the years as been great. He has shown a clutch gene as well.

We have 80 mill but we have a ton of Free Agents and Amari and Dak are going to take up a ton of that cap space.

I don't think we'll have a roster as talented as we had this year for awhile.
