 It's tiresome. Unfortunately, they have until March 10th to come upon an agreement.

Or even all the way till July 15th before the window closes for extensions for franchise tagged players.

Going to be a fun ride. lol

Time for more Off Topic Zone, better than cowbell.

If you don't spend time there, you are missing out on getting to know your fellow posters better and more about them. There are some very interesting people here with varied backgrounds and interests.

You can also drop by the Members Zone and welcome new posters showing up weekly and make them feel welcome.

It's fun to talk Cowboys but after a while, what else are we going to say? Might as well have a Redundancy Zone. Hell, getting rid of Garrett cleared up half the Fan Zone.

Geocaching, fishing, yard work, and just getting to know what the dog has been up too.

If our diva QB will sign for what he's worth and not for what he thinks he's worth we can then concentrate on putting some quality pieces in place that would benefit the entire team and not just Me-Dak.

First time in forever I don’t really care. I’m interested, sure. But boy have I been obsessive in years past. I think this board has robbed me of some of my joy lol

The Combine, then probably the most critical free agent period in recent Cowboy history, followed by "lying season" up until the draft.

The Cowboys will be linked to free agent names only to sign the George Iloka's , Benson Mayowa's, and Mackenzy Bernadeau's of the football world.

Then, in the draft, we will linked to several, promising young talented players only to have the gorgeous Jane Slater tell us a day before we are drafting next year's equivalent to Trysten Hill.

Wait for the draft while I continue to laugh at some of the threads around here.

I remember the old forum at Dallascowboys.com was pure comedy gold in the off-season.

Since the SB is out of the way. SF did not get #6. KC ended a 50 year drought.
I have no care or concern about either one. Just glad it is over.

So where do we go from here. I will not watch any of the sports how's for several weeks, let them get all of their talk done, as I don't want to hear it. Mostly because of jealousy we don't have a QB like that.
Oh I am sure I will catch a few minutes here and there.

Anyway, in a few weeks I will tune in and the NFL Combine will be getting geared up, and what teams will tag what players. Then FA starts mid March. This is where we go. It will still be slow news times off and on.

However with the new coaching staff it will still be interesting of the direction this team takes. With all the FA's as well, and some key players also involved in this. Think by draft time will should have a decent idea of this direction, and the draft will make that direction better.

Also the OTA's will be interesting, even though we may not get a true feel about the team as to the exact schemes. It will provide some insight to some good threads (and hopefully new topics) as the new defense unfolds, and any changes in the offense.

But for now, what happens next? I guess rumors of player movement still, from all teams.
Now what?
Lots of beer and liquor.
I mean liquor and beer!

In the clear...

Next is a month minimum of overreating to, and /or over scrutinizing every single piece of Dak information.

Agendas will be driven well past the limits. Cowboys Internet wont be able to focus on anything else.
