Did you complain about Zeke getting top RB overall pay? Did you complain about D-Law getting top 4-3 DE overall pay? Did you complain about Zack Martin, Tyron Smith, Fredbeard and Collins getting top Oline pay? ...... even though they all underachieved in 2019 after getting paid top overall pay???

I bet my house you didn't!

Yet, here you are complaining about Dak demanding top pay even though statistically he put up top career and among the very best QB statistics in 2019?

PFFT....

Yep, I did.

Not like they have a choice, not going to let him walk away as a FA with no compensation.

I posted it yesterday too. In front of the media they are "he's a priority" and behind closed doors with a stiff drink and their shoes up on the table they wonder out loud to each other.."is he worth it?"

Behind closed doors they are asking themselves, "What has he done that proves he's worth it?"

Since the Perfect Storm of 2016, he's 27 - 21, 3 fourth quarter comeback (all in 2018), 2 won by Maher field goals and the other led by Zeke Elliott's rushing.

Take care of the ball.
Get the ball to the play makers.
Get out of the way.

You don't get more bus driver than that. You don't need a $35 million bus driver.

Really good! Went to a friend's birthday party and it was really nice.
The Super Bowl was fun and my wife was completely engaged with the Halftime Show...

Thank you for asking!

My pleasure Brother. I'm glad that you and the misses had a great time!

While I think Dak has room for improvement, I have to ask: What QBs don't get the ball to the play makers and get out of the way?

All those guys you mention are key to prop Dak up. You complain constantly that it is all these guys fault when Dak can’t get it done. 8-8 that is what Dak was in 2019.

Hate to admit it, but he did make some good points, just be glad when the contract is signed sealed and delivered.

Yeah Ive advocated for the franchise tag for awhile now, but foolishly never considered him holding out. I don't think we can get away with tagging him anymore.

Lets not forget McCarthy saw Greenbay pour all their money into Aaron Rodgers then not have enough money to pay other players. Wouldn't surprise me if McCarthy is telling Jerry not to overpay for Dak. Dak is no Aaron Rodgers.

Franchise tag is stupid

If You're leaning towards not keeping him then why spend over 30 million dollars this year on a rental ?

if you're leaning towards keeping him then why give him over 30 million dollars of guaranteed NOT going towards a long term deal and increase his market value by letting the cap going up again ??

He started over 60 games, you know exactly what you have so be a big boy and do something (let him go or sign him, don't do this teenage wishy washy where scared and unsure)

Good point. And a good question.

There is a difference (IMO) of Aaron Rodgers or Carson Wentz who push the ball downfield vs Dak Prescott whose best plays often are nothing more than a hand off to Zeke. I should have made that clear, bus drivers are not aggressive QBs as in Ryan Tannenhill is the bus driver for Derrick Henry.

All QBs are bus drivers to some extent. Then there are those....(insert Jaws theme) who rise up to bite you!

Dak missed some throws this season, and his receivers dropped some as well, but he made quite a few downfield throws, regardless of whether or not they were all successful. I think in the second Eagles game, despite having an injured shoulder (which I think some people credit too much for his poor performance in that game) he threw at least 4 deep balls, which were good decisions, but not all good throws. Nevertheless, he wasn't just dinking and dunking. One thing I was happy to see this year was that he seemed to be more aggressive. Unfortunately that sometimes meant holding the ball too long.

A few downfield throws don't remove the bus driver label until he does it in crunch time, game on the line stuff. Win, or lose, you gotta be aggressive.

Yea, its interesting to see what Kellen Moore said about Dak. I wold have rather seen things like, he is seeing the field better, he's making better throws in tighter windows, he's challenging the defense. But it is what it is.
