imo, the super bowl was about one qb. the great Patrick mahomey. forget Watson or Jackson. mahomey is now the top qb in the game. unflappable. unfathomable. unfreaking believable. and he'll only get better.

He didn't do it last year. Not one game......and we had some close ones. And I'm not talking about just 4th quarter. Any game we got behind at all was over. But he did mount some spirited efforts in garbage time.

Mahomes is the new standard.

49ers were the better team. Had Chiefs right where they wanted them in 4th Qtr. Then Mahomes took the game in his own hands.

Momentum totally shifted after 20-17. KC defense even stepped up at that point.Its infectious. A joy to watch.

Mahomes did it in every post season game this year. After being down double digits. He goes into a different time zone elevating those around him.

Kid has the “ “IT” factor. Comes around a every few years in an era.

Dak wasn’t able to overcome a 7 point deficit in any game this year.

Mahomes proved that an Elite QB alone can basically win you a SB against the best Defense in the League.

So Defense wins Championships pretty much is Toast after Sunday.

Offense wins Games and Offense wins Ships if a QB that superior is leading it.

KC will win another 5 Rings with Mahomes you can bet on that so thinking about Dak leading the Cowboys to a SB is just laughable at that Point.

There are guys like Lamar Jackson and Deshaun Watson who will be next...if they can get past Mahomes.

Problem is though if you’re trying to duplicate a model the 49ers are the team you duplicate not KC. There just aren’t Mahomes coming out every year.

If they don’t convert 3rd and 15. Game over! But they do in miraculous fashion . The rest is history.
