How can we live without Dez he was a key part of some average teams almost 10 years ago.

He was such a talent but his immaturity really had an adverse effect at the end of his DC career. If he's grown up and has put the sideline drama aside, I welcome him with open arms. The minute he complains about not getting the ball or gets distracted in the locker room with pet monkeys and soc media attacks. Adios!!

Running, cutting and jumping are part of it, but there is also cost, and what his role might be, and his acceptance of that role, and personality and locker room considerations etc …
This!!

Bad idea and even that much more very unlikely.
You already have your starting bookend WRs in Cooper and Gallup,so we know this is not a starting role in question, and we're assuming Cobb returning as the slot/3rd guy.
even just highly hypothetical where would that put Dez ? 4th WR guy ?

And with a 31 year older that was already in decline with separation issues - before he suffered the big Achilles heel injury his only week with Saints, whose release also was connected to rumor that
Cowboys wanted a lesser QB disruptive atmosphere, hasn't played in over a year, and still coming off that Achilles heel injury which is even more difficult to come back in previous playing form
than serious knee injuries nowadays, and there would be way too many minuses than pluses.

All of that for sure.

Dez would have to make the effort in many areas.

Jerrah was responsible in some ways with him as well as others like Romo, Witten, etc. who were Jerrah's favs.

Dez was spoiled.

I hated his sideline rants. But strangely enough, the team seemed to accept him and played on.

You could not underestimate his value on the field as a teammate.

Some will insist Dez is not possibly healthy enough to make any difference now.

We just do not know. Until we see him run, catch, take a hit we just do not know.

Me?

I want to know. Either reopen the book on Dez..

or let's close it once and for all.

:omg:

He deserves a tryout if he wants to play here. He has earned that.

If Witten can be brought back then Dez can be given a shot as well.
It would take Witten 5 years to amass 16 tds. Lol. We never replaced Dez td production.

Dez could score more tds than Gallop or Witten and doesnt need to be able to run the route tree. He didnt score 16 tds because he could run the route tree. Lmao. He scored 16 tds because he was a beast w ball in hand and could win 50/50 balls in the Air.

Cooper, gallop, Cobb, Witten and Jarwin couldnt score 16 tds combined last season. So *** is it gonna hurt bringong in a REAL ALPHA DOG 50/50 BALLER

WE DONT HAVE A 50/50 Baller at te or wr. Whats it gonna hurt? Dez didnt score catching 3 yard checkdown passes when the defender slipped and fell down like Witten. Lmao.

This red zone offense is trash because there is no go up and get a ball skills on the Roster. There is no BEAST WITH BALL IN HAND. YOU GOT A BUNCH OF SCORELESS STATS. THATS ALL FOLKS!!!
