I know their are about a million Dak threads but I wanted to see by-the-numbers how divided the fans are.

I’m in a rush making this, hopefully I didn’t leave out any obvious possibilities...o_O

What I want is a long term deal under Wilson's contract.

What I expect is a FT then a long term dead later, maybe before the draft.

I would try to sign Dak, think he is a good QB and with the right coach could be a franchise QB. BUT, if he want's 40 + mill, and plays hardball and sits out, then sign a vet like Brady for a year and draft a QB.

So the try the Resskins/Kurt Cousins route?

"Cousins and the Commanders attempted to work out a long-term deal before the start of free agency, but could only come to an agreement on the exclusive franchise tag on February 28, 2017, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to be franchise tagged in consecutive years." -wiki

The cousins deal was an exclusive franchise tag .

the Commanders/cousins route isn't a bad one at all .

Both parties are in agreement, and the QB gets franchise tag money .

Jerry Jones wants Dak Prescott signed as soon as possible according to his terms, which Prescott has balked at agreeing to thus far. I choose Other/Explain In Comments since reality is bound to those circumstances.

Worked out well for Cousins, not so much for the Commanders. A couple of lame duck seasons with Cousins and debatable if Haskins is their QB of the future.

Yup, but the good thing was that they weren't stuck with cousins for 10 years .
