In person, I would basically walk away from a lot of people if they spoke to me that rudely. I used to not, and it always ended up badly.

More than once, I have walked away from a thread on here and didn't go back. It's not easy, but after the first few times I forced myself to do it, it got easier.
Yeah you have to walk away something I still don’t do well. I sometimes put the particular poster on ignore until I come back so I stop getting the notifications that make me want to return the same energy. Sometimes I don’t but I’m going to get better at it. Irl I don’t have these problems so I guess that’s why online it’s fun to go back and forth but it messes up the other posters experience. At least irl I get to actually fight others in friendly competition to get this aggression out unlike here.

After some self-introspection, I’ve realized that I’ve often times been harsh and abrasive to fellow members on the forum for their opinions and part of it was accompanied with a feeling of arrogance.

I wanted to apologize to all those members I was rude and abrasive too, particularly those who defend Dak and even Jerry and guys like Garrett. It is, in the end, football and we all share our love if the team.

This includes everybody who thinks to himself that he may be referring to me and if that is the case, it definitely refers to you. Again, my apologies for my rude behavior and often times condescending approach towards debating and plan on changing

This includes guys like @Streetwise and @OmerV especially. If you have any personal gripes please don’t hesitate to message me personally so I can apologize individually.

While it is nice that you felt the need to apologize, I believe you genuflected too much.

Disagreements, debates and even flat out insults are part of what makes message boards great.

All in all, none of this really should be regarded as "personal" unless you decide you want to make it that way.

Some poster disagreeing with me or not liking what I have to say is all part of the game as far as I am concerned. I am not going to go to bed worrying because someone hurt my online feelings.

When someone feels regret for saying things in a spirit he normally wouldn't, it doesn't matter whether it's online or in real life.
