1) Kansas City Chiefs
2) Baltimore Ravens
3) San Francisco 49ers
4) Houston Texans

5) Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott is a lock to be on the Cowboys' roster next season, whether via the franchise tag or a new contract. Given the kind of play Dak has provided on the rookie contract of a fourth-round pick, he certainly deserves a major pay hike. And I think these two sides will indeed put pen to paper on a long-term deal at some point, especially with the new coach in place.

Mike McCarthy changes everything for Dallas. That was a coup of a hire. He's a Super Bowl champ and an offensive guru. This is a major upgrade over Jason Garrett. McCarthy and Prescott comprise the kind of coach-quarterback tandem that can carry a franchise to years of contention. It's in everyone's best interest to make this marriage official.

6) Green Bay Packers
7) Philadelphia Eagles
8) Buffalo Bills
9) Seattle Seahawks

Hmmmmmmm, Niners and the Cowboys the top 2 NFC teams? I could dig a rekindling of that rivalry, one of the best ever in the game.

Still not buying Prescott is the right fit for McCarthy....If your going to make this work..your better get the right QB from the start.....instead of wasting what years McCarthy has left here. I can't image McCarthy failing w/ Dak...then getting another QB...then having success. The process just doesn't work that way...

Niners? I think they're SB appearance is done for awhile just as the Rams was. Cowboys have a very stacked team. Hopefully the new coaching staff can bring out the team that manhandled the Rams, permanently.

Egals? Not with Wentz
Packers? Rodgers is done
Ravens? Jackson MVP season came & went
just as Daks

Bills? Too wishy washy
Seattle? Always a threat in 1st round of playoffs. Their run is over. Dust has settled.

Saints should be in top 4. Can't believe they're not even listed by this guy. But, he's only a columnist. To each their own opinion.

I’m so excited our soon to be 40 million dollar QB and SB caliber HC will be expected to carry this franchise to championship runs for years to come.

I’ll know where to look if we don’t meet those expectations.

one commentator thinking it's all about HC and QB

this team had the #1 O in the NFL, the worst STs in the NFL, and a D deadlast in the INTs

nice to have a new O guru as HC

MM better get real D minded and fast, interested to see what happens with Nolan

One advantage the Cowboys do have is being around 80 mill under the cap. Dallas is in a very good position. Yes Dak will likely sign a big contract but these contract also get restructured freeing money up down the road. KC is 8 mill under the cap with as many FA as the Cowboys have and Mahomes contract this year or next year however KC wants to play this will still be looking at 5 year 200 mill contract according to many reports.
