Romo leaving was the reason for his decline. Dak wasn’t a great passer then and probably still isn’t.
just look a Coops production this year.
Garrett’s legacy will be the fact that he wasted the careers of a lot of very good players in his ten years as a coach.
It’s more about who coaches the backup QB. If you got Reid or Peyton you’ll probably be ok. The Cowboys? Not so much.
Dallas finished with a +15 in point differential, that is with a very easy shedule, a weak NFC east and no significant in season injuries.
Tony will never win a SB but he certainly won at life.
Dallas has a +7 in point differential, the next worst differential of the 12 playoff teams is +64.
With Hue Jackson gone, Jason Garrett is quite possibly the worst head coach in the NFL, it’s pretty hard to win a SB with that kind of liability....
I am 100% rooting for a dumpster fire of a season this year. Jason Garrett is not winning a SB and that’s what it’s all about.
Keep those Ls...
Check out Houston’s #1 receivers stats when they had Osweiler. It’s all on the QB.
There is an argument to be made that Dak is a bottom 3 starting QB this year.
Hopkins did not have no.1 numbers in 2016 with Osweiler. As a matter of fact, his numbers were pretty similar to Dez last year. It’s the QB.
it’s all on Dak. All of it. Put a good QB on this team and it’s a legit contender.
Dak the WR Killer
The inevitable 8-8 season and Garrett staying.
They treat Dak like he is Brady. He needs the work.
At least we traded for a fullback.
The only thing that would ease my total lack of interest in anything this team does right now would be getting rid of Garrett.
Anyrhing else is...
Yep. He has to deal with Garrett as a head coach.
I think he is one of the 5 worst coaches in the NFL.
Garrett is the worst coach in the league.
A TD and its over.
