Thinking BPA, value, shown interest, needs (4-3 personnel, protecting Romo, bettering running game and ST's returns), upside/age and immediate contributions. Of course where the prospects are predicted to be.

I don't think we're as hot on WR as people think. The first 2 selections have some character issues but the rest should fit the RKG mold which is also taken into consideration. Richardson, Schwenke, Bailey and possibly Evans start immediately. Moore also plays a considerable role behind both the starters. Murray is the change of pace back (4.4 speed at 223 lbs) that is also built to handle steady carries behind the starter Murray and will return punts/kick offs.

Spencer and Hatcher pending contracts remain in the back of FO's mind during the selections.

DRAFT:

18. Sheldon Richardson - DT, Missouri: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=89459&draftyear=2013&genpos=DT
47. Damontre Moore - DE, Texas A & M: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=110646&draftyear=2013&genpos=DE
80. Brian Schwenke - C, California: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=90417&draftyear=2013&genpos=C
114. Josh Evans - FS, Florida: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=89559&draftyear=2013&genpos=FS
151. Alvin Bailey - OG, Arkansas: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=90367&draftyear=2013&genpos=OG
185. Latavius Murray - RB, Central Florida: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=83828&draftyear=2013&genpos=RB

Possible UDFA's:

Knile Davis: RB, Arkansas: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dsprofile.php?pyid=89542&draftyear=2013&genpos=RB
Chris Faulk: OT, LSU: http://www.nfldraftscout.com/rating...ear=2013&sortby=tsxpos&order=ASC&startspot=20

Probable FA Signings/Cuts:

Sign: Tyson Clabo OT
Cut: Free OT, Livings OG

Positional Movements:

Clabo starts at RT
Phil Costa to starting RG, backup C
Berny back up OG

All opinions greatly welcomed!

Faulk is going to get drafted.

I originally had him as my 6th pick but because of his injury, looking out of shape and not able to perform much for scouts he may not get drafted.

His stock has been quick sand according to his read up and is now being projected as a 7th round - FA selection.

Good draft, though.

Thanks!

Costa signed 2 year extension, FO has said they could always move him to guard during this offseason and was very clear that they would look more for a C/OG type of prospect. Clabo beside him muchly improves him.

Schwenke gets drafted to start C. Bailey starts LG. He is very underrated and is the type of mobile guard, even at his size that our scheme typically utilizes.

Costa is a better fit at guard than center. We just haven't had a legitimate center. Believe me, I love Warmack and like Cooper. I think 1 will be there at 18 because of history but the FO doesn't value that position in the 1st round. It is what it is.

Thank you.

Richardson should be if the run on o-line goes like everyone is saying.

Moore is supposedly falling due to his apparently many character issues, poor practice habits, conditioning/ hamstring issue and terrible combine and pro day. Furthermore, there are 5 viable DE's that are highly respected and predicted to go before him according to the read ups. That does not even include 3-4 OLB's.

Schwenke may go 2nd round. He's projected to 3rd round so by our mid round pick will probably be gone. Use a next years 5th to move up if need be.

Every player outlined in each respective round is supported by NFL Draft Scouts round projections with the players consistently updated profile.

I'd walk away from that draft feeling pretty happy, though I'm not sure all of those guys, especially Alvin Bailey, will be available when we pick.

I think the Cowboys will pass on Moore for the above reasons.
