Steve Smith is proving the point as to why Terrell Owens is the difference in one team getting to the SB next year.....a team close to getting over the hump.....1 guy can create so much for a team to utilize, opening up the passing and running game......all the praise being thrown Smith's way after his performance, proves teh point....and he isnt no saint by any means....yeah yeah, a cancer, a headache, I heard it all about Owens, all true......BUT, can someone milk a year or two out of him???? Parcells perhaps......think very carefully about how much he could elevate this offense....NFC is weak, it is there for the taking....

BTW, a crazy thought canme to me....after watching the Pats game, could the Pats go against the norm, with the veteran group and take a shot, ala Corey Dillon and grab Owens....that could be scary!!!

Didn't the Eagles try to milk a year or two out of him? This guy RUINS teams!!!! IT is moronic to think it would be ANY different here in Dallas.

ANd will be sitting at home watching the Giants or Deadskins win a SB next year with Owens on their team.

(a) He's not going to either of those teams.

(b) The Giants, with Mr. 52%, don't stand a chance unless 31 year old Tiki can have another all-universe season. Curtis Martin, anyone?

(c) The Skins have plateued. Brunell can't play that well again, Springs is getting older and more injury prone, they have zero depth, and are in a bad cap situation.

Don't expect those teams to duplicate their 2005 success.

Well the Patriots would really be different for TO... they have proven they can win... McNabb has proven he will continually choke on McChunky Soup.

Dallas is an up and coming elite with great tradition. Dont think that Irvin isnt telling him to be smart about playing for Dallas. HE can turn every thing around. Its not how you start its how you finish.

I just don't understand how anyone can truly believe it would ever be any different. What possible indication has TO given that he can, or wants to change. It is all about TO, and that is not what Parcells is all about. Yes, Dallas is an up and coming team. Why ruin it? Is there any reason to believe (legitimate reason, not wishful thinking) that the result here would be any different than anywhere else TO has been? Good seasons, ultimately ending up with TO blaming everyone but himself for failures, calling out coaches, and ultimately ruining the team? What makes anyone think the result would be any different?

TO is not about winning. TO is all about TO. That is all he cares about. And that is a bad attitude to bring into a young, impressionable locker room.

I have not seen any commercial, I don't know what you're talking about there.

Without the pathetic play and gameplan of the Bears corners and defense, the Bears win yesterday. Isn't one of those corners going to the pro-bowl over one, Terence Newman? Who didn't allow a single catch to Steve Smith, and frustrated him to the point of getting ejected? Time for T-New to get some respect.

Steve Smith can do SO MUCH more then TO ever dreamed of doing. AND he is NOT a cancer. ANyone stupid enough to compare the two really knows NOTHING about football.

1. we don't need to get older at WR.
2. He is not reformed, he is selling himself because everyone knows what a cancer he has been.
FORGET IT!

We don't need him.....I like what we have....if we don't fix the line we won't have to worry about he passing game. For once if we can get the same five guys to play consistently and together for a couple of years then we will improve all other aspects of our offense. The problem is that we have some age and cap issues on the line. I say re-sign LA. Another year for Petiti starting. Make a decision on center one way or the other.

i'll for the life of me NEVER understand how someone can watch 1 player on the field and pretend it's ONLY that player making the difference AND if we get one like him results will be the same.

if that were the case there'd be a lot of 16-0 teams out there by just getting todays shiney object.

You should have a larger version of your Office Space avatar. We could all use it as a blanket reply to anyone who wants T.O.

I see your point and it is very valid. And I know it was college but I swear Vince Young had a cape on against USC. That was dominating. By himself NO. But probably as close as you will ever see. One player will never win a game by himself. But to be the factor that SS was is something special.

Well unless TO can snap the ball to himself, drop back and pass it, then run down and get underneath his own pass and catch it and block for himself to run it in for a TD then I doubt one player makes a difference.

Would that even be legal?;)
