It's coordinator and players. People talk about pressure and sacks against the Jets but they suck so I don't put too much credence I to that game for defense.

We are forced to play a lot of zone and no pressure and run defense still iffy and our LBs suck. The safties suck. The DL is meh and a coordinator who can't run a scheme and trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.

It all adds up to this.

How many picks did Diggs get a few years ago playing man,11,12,13? How many picks for TD’s did Bland get a couple years ago playing man?
I’m not saying play man every down, but with our CB’s it is INEXCUSABLE we are not playing man at least 50% of the time.

What ever happened to the common sense philosophy of designing a defense to the strength of your players?

I don't think it's coincidence that both Diggs and Bland came out of nowhere to lead the league in INTs when Micah was rushing the QB. You have to go to elite corners like Deion to find a guy who still does it without the pressure.

Bland and Diggs were healthy and in a man to man scheme. They both are awesome man corners when healthy. Your giving your man Micah WAY to much credit.

It’s one of those “bEnD bUt dOn’t bReAk” defenses… that are easily broken by good QBs.
