4. Lawrence Taylor—NFL Linebacker
In the 1980’s, one of the most intimidating players in the entire National Football League was New York Giants’ linebacker Lawrence Taylor. A ten-time Pro Bowler, Taylor was the Associated Press Most Valuable Player in 1986. In 1986 and 1990, he won Super Bowls with New York. Off the field however, Taylor lived a life filled with drug abuse. Taylor has spent time in prison three times since his retirement for drug possession, and was charged with raping a teenage prostitute in 2010. In 2009, Taylor filed for bankruptcy protection to avoid foreclosure of his New Jersey home.

It's amazing how some can blow through millions of dollars.

Then again, their level of maturity, trust and general education on finances were probably very low.

Wouldn't shock me to see Floyd Mayweather on this list in the next ten years.
