Positives:
1. We won the game, no matter how pretty or ugly you play, a W counts the same
2. We had great balance on offense
3. Our run blocking was outstanding on all but a couple of plays
4. Murray beasted today
5. Romo with no turnovers
6. Dez had a huge game
7. Our defense recorded 3 turnovers, 2 ints and 1 on downs
8. We owned the ball today, over 41 minutes of time of possession
9. We ran the ball and with success in the red zone
10. Bailey is absolutely money

Negatives:
1. Romo still looks off, his throws are high or low and have far less zip than they used to
2. Murray fumbled again
3. Our D got abused again by the opposing TE
4. Though our D got some push, we just couldn't seem to get all the way to Locker to record sacks
5. Randle got hurt
6. McClain was robbed of a potential TD by a premature whistle
7. Our pass protection is quite subpar, and is magnified at the moment with Romo's current lack of mobility
8. The Wilcox stinger, though it doesn't appear to be too serious, as he came back
9. We had a poor start to the 2nd half, especially on defense
10. I don't have a 10th negative, so I will use this.....I now have to wait 7 days to see the Cowboys play again.

The offense has options, the OL is great, romo will be fine, we can run , they will get it together

Dare we hope this defense can be average ? That is the question, esp as some missing players come back?

Thanks for the contribution, Biggems.

The Cowboys won the turnover war...and for Dallas, that seems to be more relevant than Tony Romo leading the pack.

Romo looks off. His back is obviously still an issue. But if we can lean on the running game, it'll hopefully mitigate the back issue.

I do believe that we're seeing the end of Romo's career.

Good game today. D is improving. Pass protection is an issue.

The offensive line has established itself in the run game both weeks. It's great to see that part of the offense play out the way we hoped. On the other side, my God, Ro McClain brings a presence and a much-needed nastiness inside.

For whatever reason we can't pick up a blitz, or make a hot read for medium yardage, to save our lives.

its not like we dont have ideal players to get convert key 3rd downs ,Romo just looks shell shocked back there tbh.

Yes, Romo looks really tentative back there. But still ... those sacks are on the OL. We have lots of room for improvement.

We have another winnable game coming up. We have some more work to do.

I thought it was a big plus that Wilcox wasn't a liability. He was bad last week, an average game like this is a big improvement and helps the defense a lot when you don't have a weak link that can be targeted. This is the Marinelli plan at this point, a bunch of average guys playing well in waves to make the group play well. If we finish with a middle of the pack defense, its a huge plus considering the talent level right now.

I also have never been high on Wilber in that down line pass rush spot but he did well there today. That is the role I want Spencer in soon and Demarcus Lawrence in for the second half of the season.

end of his career and he just started his massive 6 year 108 million dollar deal.

Missed the game today. Posts like this help me get a good feel for how things went. Looks like far more good than bad. Though Romo not looking good is troubling. I hope we can ride the running game and this decent defense until our reinforcements (Lawrence, Spencer) return

I think it's a good thing Ro McClain didn't score. Took more time off the clock, kept the defense fresh. Those defensive scores have been curses in disguise for us a few times the last few years.

I think the issue with Romo is just rust and not injury, he barely played in the preseason.

Overall the concerns ares till the same. Romo's health and the defense. The defense is still pretty bad. The titans missed a lot of chances early on, though we made some nice plays on D too... Shout out to Moore and Ro. And Romo was almost as bad as Locker at times. Dez bailed him out a few times and I only counted 2 or 3 good throws.

I noticed that Wilber seemed to get more snaps at DE than last week. Actually, I don't remember him getting any snaps at DE last week.

He looked better towards the second half but it's apparent IMO that it's not just rust.

You can probably safely say that about the mental mistakes, the far more worrying issues are accuracy that's just not there and there doesn't seem to be much zip on his passes anymore are signs of decline
