1. We played a very mediocre and talent depleted team.
2. Could we just have some fun and say how great Romo is without Aikman being the spoil sport. Twice, Buck or someother gushed about Romo with Aikman quickly bringing everybody back to earth with "he's not at that (superstar) level yet" or some other downer statement.
3. I noticed Mat McBriar kicking one to around the 10 instead of into the end zone. I like that.
4. Our secondary continues to show why it can be vulnerable on the big play. However the secondary coach is, make adjustments, Homer.
5. Romo, was magnificent. Cool under pressure. He seems to have a LOT of fun playing. That is refreshing.
6. Could we do without all the gratuitous showing of the camera people, all the TV crew. Yeah, they work on Thanksgiving. But that is their job. The rest of us work holidays and none is given sainthood. Time consumsing, unnecessary. We appreciate you. Now go away. Along with that, Aikman and Buck had their children there doing some lame introductions. Give me a break and pass me another beer and LETS WATCH THE ACTION ON THE FIELD,
7. Is Marion Barber becoming the featured back? He seems to make the most of every chance, while the workmanlike JJ seems to blend into the woodwork.
8. Vandy needs help. Psychologically and with his swerve to the right.
9. Parcells seems like a new man out there. he seems to be having fun watching Romo, Barber etc.
10. And can we do away with the very lame galloping gobbler sh . . . stuff? Tiresome. All we want is football, not scripted nonsense.

Cowboys looked awesome.

:)

Lord forbid the people that bring you football on TV get any recognition.

I think that is a bit harsh. Although it is definitely not my favourite part of the broadcast, I still think that it is very appropriate. It keeps with the tradition of family and comradery of thanksgiving. Clearly your saint comment is hyperbole, but I know all of us forced to work on a holiday wish they had the opportunity to let their loved ones know they are thinking of them on a national stage.

Is it to much to ask that we get to enjoy the after game glow for a while?
That was an NFL team we beat last I knew.

I think the point is that those people work hard so people like the OP can sit around and swill beer all day. They deserve the 10 seconds or so of recognition they get for doing a job that people like the OP obviously dont appreciate.

One of the Aikman statements was a joke. When Buck was comparing Romo to Aikman, he responded by saying, "He's not at that level yet." It was obviously a joke as both Aikman and Buck were laughing.

Hey, the Galloping Gobbler is awesome. Leave it alone. Emmitt Smith recieved the first one if you don't remember, then Julius, and now Romo. It's all in good fun dude.

Leave the bird alone. I think it has enough problems. :laugh2:

I kinda enjoy the Turkey Day and Christmas looks at the folks behind the scenes.

But then, I also enjoyed the Madden Turduckon for years.:)

I couldn't agree more. I was just trying to emphasize that considering the holiday he should be more lenient.

Do not interfere with a perfectly good "Aikman hates the cowboys" conspiracy theororist.

How did the refs not see holding on Ware on the first drive? Unbelievable.

Is it me or does Marion Barber have one of the best noses for the endzone that I have seen in a Cowboys Uniform in a long time? I guess since Emmitt, but Emmitt was more straight forward. Marion is great at looking for the hole and driving it home. A perfect compliment to keep the defense honest against a mobile QB.

Jones lacks vision, never makes defenders miss, isnt particularly good as a receiver but somehow he is still the starter....

Barber is the more complete back....

Dont be surprised if we draft one again next year.... this offense is an explosive back away from being the best in the league-

oh they saw it...you couldnt NOT see it

I'm just amazed at how they constantly see things that could be borderline calls against us, but then turn around and miss something blatantly obvious like that

That is called the "flip-flop" Mcbriar has been doing that for two years now, he kicked it well tonight.

They run in different situations, barber is mostly in against nickel defenses.

Barber usually comes in after jones has softened up the defense with alot of pounding the ball.

People are obsessed with finding negatives about jones. He is a very good player. Stop comparing and searching for negatives. Barber and jones both play their roles extremely well.
