Only avenue is Division title. Must be within 1 game of Philadelphia on date of season finale. No one is catching Carolina or SF for wildcards.

I think it's ironic with all the NFC Least commentary, that double digit victories will be mandatory for Dal/Phi. to make the tournament. I like our odds, and I think we run the table if we escape Chicago.

Agreed. Im not sure of the Rodgers effect on the outcome of the Green Bay game. Much easier without him, but winnable either way. I dont think Philly can beat us.

No one is catching the 9ers or Panthers? While that may be correct.....

9ers stil have Seahawks and Cardinals
Panthers have the Aint's TWICE and Atlanta, even injured are always a tough out for anyone in their division.

The Wildcard is far from SEWED UP. Not saying anyone from our division will get that wild card but neither one of those teams are guaranteed to get those wild cards. As a matter of fact, Panthers could potentially lose 2 or 3 games from here on out. We'll definitely know how for real they are with these next stretch of games.

Due to tie-breakers, I think Dallas can win the division with 9 wins but Philly will need 10. Excluding the last game, Dallas can lose two(as long as one isn't to Wash) and Philly lose one, then we go into the last game one game behind at 8 wins, they have 9. We win, we will win the division at 9 wins because of the division record.

If we lose to Wash, we will have to beat Philly and one of the other games, prob GB. I don't think the Eagles will win their next three, so more than likely, they will go into week 17 at 9 wins. It will come down to the last minute of the 2013 regular season unless we totally implode before then but I don't see that happening.

Get ready for another win and your in scenario :(

The defense absolutely needs to raise the bar or this team will be lucky to win more than 1 of the next 4.

It's doable

Really? You think we'd be lucky to win one of CHI, GB, WAS, PHI? With GB and PHI at home?

I'd think we're favorites to win each of those at this point, given CHI and GB's injury status and how poorly WAS is playing, overall. Not that we will win all of them, but I'd say it'd be incredibly unlucky if we were only to win one of the next four.

I dunno how to take the rest of the season seriously at this moment. If someone would've asked what games we'd win after the blowout in New Orleans, I dunno that I would've circled any of them. I think each and every week in this league, especially with this team, you gotta focus on what's right in front of you, and this week, it's the bears. The last time I remember beating the bears, Marion Barber showed one of their DB's why we called him The Barbarian. I dunno if that was really the last time we beat them or not, but I'm pretty sure Parcells was coaching then.
Anyway, I'm really hoping we get some key players back this week, and this team executes in all 3 phases of the game, pushing us to 8-5.

I used to hate playing the Bears, because they'd always beat you with the flukey turnover and the ST play. Last year, not included. It's a different squad right now, though, than they were in years past. I'm looking forward to this game, because it's going to give us a good measuring stick as to where we are, really, in the NFC right now. Especially now that Nov is over. :)

at the very least it's at home...not that we have a great home-field advantage but better a neutral than an away game.

If Cutler and Rodgers miss the games then I can see the Cowboys being favored in those games and maybe not even then with Chicago. If they do play in those games, which they are scheduled to play in, then the only game Dallas would be favored in is Washington.

If the defense raises the bar and the offense continues to be wildly inconsistent, it won't matter. The offense is not that good, so both need to raise the bar.

We are 5-1 @ home this year with the only loss being the 51-48 shoot-out that was winnable...we haven't exactly dominated our home turf on the field, but they have won most...

You are stating your opinion that is backed with no facts including the statement about the Commanders game. However Dallas is most likely going to win the divisional tiebreaker with the eagles if they end with the same records. Even if they both end up at 8-8

we need to win the next 3 which are all VERY winnable games to make week 17 meaningless

i will have no faith that we beat philly in week 17 if that game is one and done becasue our record in those games with these players has been horrendous

I am praying that the division title doesn't come down to Week 17. Here's to hoping Dallas takes care of business starting with the Bears. Who, will be no push over. Heck, the rest of the season is no push over. Dallas can lose to every team they face, if they aren't careful.

That game will be at home this time. Have a little faith.

unfortunately this group of players have left no room for faith over the last 2 years

the next 3 games are much more winnable IMO than the last one

No argument here, the defense just gets more attention because it is so bad.
