105.3 beating up on Kenneth Murray

Elam, Murray, Payton Turner, Robert Jones, Jack Sanborn, Miles Sanders. The list of failures is longer than Murray. It is the Jerry Jones quantity of quality hypothesis put into action.

Wasted draft picks for Trey Lance and Jonathan Mingo didn't happen this year but it is the pattern of mistakes the Cowboys front office has made.
Hey now, Mingo dropped a pass this week do you cant call him a complete dud

As someone else stated he makes Jaylon Smith look like an all pro.

To think Jaylon Smith had all the athleticism in the world prior to his injury but I said he would never amount to anything other than an average LB(even if he didnt get injured) as he was possibly one of the worst players i have ever seen when it came to football knowledge and instincts. Dude just wrecked college due to his freak athletic nature that's all.

Then Murray shows up and shocks me even more about having no feel for the game.

You could probably find somebody better if you held open tryouts.

Some brutal honesty right here! He stinks!!!

I still like to figure out how these answers from Schottenheimer and anybody up there defending this guy, I didn't listen to it, but I heard they were trying their best to explain why he's still getting a heavy amount of snaps and I'd like to know why they're putting their head in the clouds right now.

I don't get it like maybe it is because the people behind him are not any better that's the only thing I can come up with the middle linebacker the green dot wearing middle linebacker maybe just isn't better maybe it's just more the same so they're just sticking with him.. I was the answer we came in on the other 4 threads about this same guy that's right there's four other threads talking about 59..

Not that I disagree,

but I just don't understand why they're sticking up for him in public, maybe something crazy will happen, and they're saying this but in practice they're changing things and maybe in the games we'll see less of him, but they're just not going to say it in public....

The Cowboys’ front office gets this tunnel vision with draft pedigree ("former first-rounder!’") and they toss everything else out the window. They act like the franchise itself is some magic rehab center that can turn any player around.

I’m fine with taking a flier every now and then, but it’s maddening how often this becomes the storyline with this team, as your list shows.

IMO,, they are just bad at evaluating talent with maybe the exception of offensive line. Remember when they traded up to draft Eric Scott? Then when they needed a roster spot they protected him and exposed Ridgeway to waivers? Of course Ridgeway, who was not great but a better player than Scott, got picked up by Washington. Scott was terrible and cut the following year. Just one more example of the Cowboys evaluation mistakes. There are many more.

I should hope so,

anybody saying that Jerry's forcing this guy in the field because 59 makes all this money is a bunch of nonsense, he does not control who's active, and how many snaps they get, he does control who's on the team, and if he has drafted all these other players and for sure Wilson, he made a trade specifically to help the linebacker core, it makes sense that he'd be on board with Wilson taking more snaps from 59....

Maybe it's just that the coaching staff doesn't feel like they have much of a better option, maybe Wilson changes their mind, but I'm thinking 59s been on the field wearing the green dot because there isn't a better option behind him, but maybe they're willing to give Wilson a little bit more time to prove otherwise.

hope we Find out if Wilson's any better than Sanborn, but they may look a lot alike, in the end, next year it looks like we're back to finding a middle linebacker, again....

I HAD high hopes for Liafu with Big O, and Wilson stabilizing the LB core, at least the rest of the season.

Still not sure that this isn't just a lot of our players looking bad to us and it's still Matt Eberfluous his scheme his lack of teaching and trying to improve what he's supposed to be an expert at is the worst on the team is not what I expected when he was signed I thought at the very least he would make our linebackers really good you know if they're OK he can make them better if they're great he can make them elite but he's doing none of that...

Draft a LB in the first and buy a legit baller LB in free agency.....dont rely on OVs health nor Liufaus limitations.

I think why they are keeping Murray on the field is because Wilson is slow. Murray, for all his issues, is at least decently quick. However, being quick doesn't matter a lot if you have zero awareness and positioning and get washed out every time you get blocked. I guess they have had enough. But I wouldn't expect an extreme improvement.. While Logan may have better vision, he is slow and will not be able to get where he needs to be at the second level even if he is quicker to diagnose. This is a critical position we must address next year.

maybe they looked at his ras score???? is his ras score even good?????? sooo confused...
I think things like this tend to be an issue. They get all excited about a player's athletic rankings and all the various scores they have in individual scorings. They forget that sometimes, regardless of athletic someone may be, they just aren't good. You can't teach things like instinct. Give me a guy with mediocre athletic scores but is just plain good at football over an athletic freak who sucks at the game any day.

It is pretty much what I said I think we can all agree if they had a better option they would have went to it already the problem here is the whole entire linebacker core other than overshone and even he's had some problems covering Mahomes and he'd been out of position a few times on tackles but I'll give him a break,

I believe the coaches have kept going back to 59 because there aren't a truly obvious better option behind him and maybe they're going to try it after a 10 day break maybe they've been working on it in practice and maybe they're going to get some stuff fixed I don't know it just needs to improve..

Say this again it's shocking that a defensive coordinator that is supposed to be a linebacker guru and approve this he basically wanted Murray and Sanborn and he drafted Shamar James and he can't get this group together with some players from last year who Zimmer down the stretch had them balling liafu was really solid last year and now he's not I have to keep going back to this I don't know how Jerry's not seeing this matt Eberpoo should have been gone already he should be cut and I don't care about consistency The only consistent thing I see this year is really bad Defensive plays scheming the players aren't listening they're not learning they're not improving we need to fire his **** ASAP

I feel like the cowboys FO and Will relies on RAS scores too much, Give us the damn Hardnose football loving player that is going to give 100% on each play.

The Kenneth Murray trade is the perfect example of why the Cowboys haven't been able to be serious contenders the last few years. If you want to take a buy low approach to a former top pick I'm all for that. Picking up a player like that and penciling him in as a starter right away is a joke.
Just picking this at random, not an attack on you.

Murray absolutely sucks, cant play zone for nothing. But Thomas and Osa did him no favors. This team for whatever reason has gap integrity issues all across the DL.
