You'll get a 5th for Turpin.you trade Turpin, i love Turpin but thats the trade, he has value to teams in contention and doesnt kill your WR room.

Sorry, I still think someone who puts a first round value on him is going to want to re sign him. Just makes sense to me.First or a second, a team that's in contention for a Superbowl and is another receiver away, you don't think they'd give up a 32nd pick in the draft for a Superbowl like I don't know, Buff or KC, or a second round selection which would be a late 2nd round selection, they sure would!!!
When in history have you seen a team trade a player for a first rounder the deadline and he comes back lol? Why do you think it’s never happen? Come on man….He's an unrestricted free agent. what part of that don't you grasp???
A undersized special teams guy with these rules I don’t know how much that’s worth…you trade Turpin, i love Turpin but thats the trade, he has value to teams in contention and doesnt kill your WR room.
Thats fine lamb is top 3 Pickens definitely is not. Yes hes been great, id you can get a first trade him but then you have to get a wr round 1 2 next yearso far he has been really good here, you like CD thats fine so far i think Pickens has been a great playmaker here.
Any team that trades for Pickens is most likely going to use the franchise tag on him before they just let him walk. He's an unrestricted free agent. what part of that don't you grasp???
we differ on confidence in this FO drafting players i guess..Thats fine lamb is top 3 Pickens definitely is not. Yes hes been great, id you can get a first trade him but then you have to get a wr round 1 2 next year
The last thing I would do is use that pick for a receiver.we have picks now, Pickens has shown he isnt a gamble, looks like a legit #1 WR... you would rather gamble on a rookie?
it should go defense but again who is making this pick, the current FO?The last thing I would do is use that pick for a receiver.
I think the objective is to do it while his value is high, will it be as high at the end of the season as it is now. Nobody knows, just a thoughtYou can do that not before the trade deadline though I'd rather wait till the offseason put a franchise tag with either a first or a 2nd round tender now you know which teams have the better draft picks You can control where he goes but I agree if you can get a first rounder it is a number brainer I know everybody wants 2 great wide receivers but it doesn't help when your defense sucks so bad and when you have an off day you could see where two receivers can't overcome a bad offensive line and the whole and offensive line was horrible yesterday...
Everything is controlled in the trenches and yesterday we don't need a second great wide receiver we need some trenches especially on defense everything needs to be rebuilt it'd be an embarrassment of riches as much as I like George Pickens you can get a really good wide receiver in the draft you can elevate the other guys that you wish to do so like Flournoy..
I mean I realize it's great but you can look with Cincinnati has struggled to put together a defense when they've had to pay two great wide receivers that kind of money and that includes our offensive line now I know our offensive line that was an anomaly yesterday but again it is a no brainer but I don't know if I would do it and no I didn't listen to the video but I wouldn't do it at the trade deadline because you don't know which teams are going to have the best offers...
I don't think the front office is willing to do that but whatever happens happens right now we have no control of it but but I do agree you should get whatever you can for him Unless he wants to sign for T Higgins money and he really wants to be here and he begs not to be traded maybe..
Who knows but the great people there thought it was best to give them both big pay dayswhy is dak and cd never on the same page when its a tough opponent?
Can't hurt to check his value? If Al Davis was alive id say the chances are damn good.
Hes the only dude I know of that took a kicker in the 1st round of the draft.....17th all round pick.
you go back to any of the big games, those 2 are always on the wrong page.Who knows but the great people there thought it was best to give them both big pay days
It's upsetting as hellyou go back to any of the big games, those 2 are always on the wrong page.
Do you think it would be a good idea for this team to tie up +$60M/yr on 2 receivers? If not, and you can get a #1 for Pickens, why wouldn't you do it?Trade Pickens!? No way! (Someone even mentioned Aubrey which is even more ridiculous.)
ID-10-T error happening when peeps want to trade proven awesome players away for picks that Jethro will stuff up.
Perhaps I’m showing my ignorance but how on earth do you build a team when the moment your players get good you ditch them for more failed Jethro picks?
Yes I know Jimmy did it to build his Super Bowl team but HE was the one doing the building at the time, so that’s not compatible to the current state of affairs. And when Jimmy found the pieces, he didn’t immediately trade them away.
When you find rare key pieces, you keep them. If they demand too much money THEN you ditch them. The purpose of the game is to develop a winning team, not play musical chairs with picks right?
Isn’t the intention given by those advocating for trading away awesomeness for picks to find awesomeness? How does that work when you find awesomeness and then trade it away for more picks?
I’m sure some football mastermind will pop in any moment and tell me how flawed my logic is.

Maybe use that mythical non exclusive tag I hear so much about. That could be a win/win. You either get compensation for him or you get him well below market value. You can do that not before the trade deadline though I'd rather wait till the offseason put a franchise tag with either a first or a 2nd round tender now you know which teams have the better draft picks You can control where he goes but I agree if you can get a first rounder it is a number brainer I know everybody wants 2 great wide receivers but it doesn't help when your defense sucks so bad and when you have an off day you could see where two receivers can't overcome a bad offensive line and the whole and offensive line was horrible yesterday...

Towards the end of the video!
Would give us 5 first round picks over the next two years!
If we ended up with 3x 1st rounders next year I'd be wheeling and dealing for a bunch of 2nds and 3rds. Rebuild everything. Plug all the holes.it should go defense but again who is making this pick, the current FO?
