Y2k wasn't even a consideration.
Global Warming wasn't even a Hollywood idea.
9/11 was unthinkable...
and the cowboys were last winners in the post season. but like all things that soon must end, wade phillips exorcised 2 demons tonight in a game that didn't come down to the wire but was a total display of domination.
twice.
there is no doubt wade comes back next year now, but there is still a few more games to go through. but first, a little looking back.
back at our home opener when we got beat and the times ahead looked dark.
rumors of eli disgracing the lockerroom hurt almost as much as the lost.
almost.
faith is easily shaken when the future is following a path that's let us down so many times before. it takes a lot to stand up and believe in a time when doubting makes the pain hurt less should you lose. let's face it, it takes a lot to believe.
it happened in the kansas city game. no we didn't become superman then, but we did find a way to become a team. this is important in a team sport and necessary to evolve. would they or would this turn into another tease.
13 into 14.
tomorrow i wonder what the hate parade is going to say in the media.
garrett called a good game.
wades defense is bulletproof.
the cowboys won a post season game and not by a little, but by total domination.
we beat 13-0 and we then beat a team winning 6 in a row. but we beat them twice. both tiems...without question.
where do we go from here? why was barber benched?
what will the hate parade feed off of now?
hate means so much less when belief is rewarded and things are turning. we have a legitimate reason to be proud and we have a legitimate to reason to believe.
feels good.
