LOL, totally forgot, you guys are right. I guess I buried all thoughts of this dumb "new" pro bowl. Well, we don't have to like it but it's not outrageous to have Romo outside the top 6 with all of the Tecmo Bowl stat padding going on. He probably doesn't need to be out there playing in a game like this anyway.

I'm having trouble keeping up. And caring. I want the team to do well. I'm not necessarily sure that having a bunch of Pro Bowlers is a locker room positive. Plus any accolade that includes Tyler Clutts is obviously broken beyond repair.

You were right about the names. The current order is Manning, Luck, Rodgers, Brady, Rivers, Roethlisberger and Romo.

And all of their teams are currently in the playoff race. Once the chargers and steelers start losing, romo will jump rivers and Roethlisberger.
I bet you're right on the 6 in front of Romo. Unfortunately, I do not think he will jump any of them based on winning. There is such a huge NFL fan bias against Romo that it will take Cowboy fans voting liek crazy to get him above those 6.
The more they win, the more love he will get and the more votes he will get. Not all the QB ' s in front of him will keep winning.

color me skeptical. Romo doesn't even get the love from his own fans...everybody else thinks he is a choker that will eventually throw this season away. If I had the motivation, I would spend all of my time voting for Romo because he deserves to get a million times more "Respect" (as Dez would say) than he gets. I don't think there is a single QB in the league that could do what he has done over the past 9 years...injuries, no running game and defense and all.

Sorry I don't follow most west coast teams. But good, Tony will jump rivers if that continues.

Rivers has fallen pretty hard back to earth, and Roethlisberger, notwithstanding his two record games, has been alright. But I understand what is driving the votes here.

It wouldn't bother me a bit if they all got snubbed. It just makes them harder to resign when they become free agents.

Probably because there aren't many FB around.

The top 10 fullbacks in the voting --

John Kuhn
Darrel Young
Kyle Juszczyk
Marcel Reece
Tyler Clutts
James Develin
Anthony Sherman
Jerome Felton
Will Johnson
Bruce Miller

Bonus points if you know the teams for more than six of them.

how does it work with getting into the pool of players from which the 2 coaches draft from? top 4 (from votes) at each position?

The Pro Bowl -- Even more hideously pathetic than before!

If I was on team management, there'd be no way I'd tie any contract bonus to Pro Bowl status. Unless they were just wanting to give some money away.
