The way I see it is if we can score 17+ points agains the Detroit defense it's a done deal?

Our four loses this year:
17-28 vs. SF
17-20 vs. Was
17-28 vs. Ari
10-33 vs. Phi
(15.25 - 27.25 averages)

Detroit's five loses this year:
7-24 @ Car
14-17 vs. Buf
6-14 @ Ari
9-14 @ NE
20-30 @ GB
(11.2 - 19.8 averages)

17 points. I don't care if we only score 10. Just as long as we're up last in the game and run the ball.

As long as they RUN THE BALL, successfully, with a lead late in the game, unlike the last two games vs the Lions, they'll win.
I honestly never understood how Garrett blew those games, and the Packers game, with such big leads.
I won't forget those losses, they were the reason we didn't make the playoffs those 2 years. Coming down to a win and get in meltdown between division rivals. Unacceptable.
Fortunately for all of us it looks like the switch went on in his ivy league educated head of his.
