1. Aaron Donald - DT, Pittsburgh

2. Jack Mewhort - OT, Ohio State; Started every game over past two seasons, has experience at every OL position except C.

3. Marcus Smith - DE, Louisville; 12.5 sacks

4. Jared Abbrederis - WR, Wisconsin; 78/1087/7 TD "Tough player that plays with a chip on shoulder an doesn't back down from challenges."

5. Jay Bromley - DT, Syracuse; 6'3/307 - 9.5 sacks

7. Trey Millard - FB, Oklahoma;

7. Bene Benwikere - CB, San Jose State; 5 INT

I am on board with the first three picks, but things kind of go weird at 4.

Here's what I was thinking after 3.

4 - Charles Sims, Craig Loston, Atone Exum, Christian Kirksey, Aaron Murray, Dion Bailey, Brent Urban, Justin Ellis, De'Anthony Thomas, EJ Gaines, Anthony Steen, Chris Davis, Ross Cockrell, Seantrel Henderson, Rashaad Reynolds, Shamar Stephen

5 - Chris Watt, Jalen Saunders, Nevin Lawson, Deandre Coleman, Prince Shembo, Kenny Ladler, Aaron Lynch, Ricardo Allen, Antonio Andrews, Devon Kennard, Dri Archer

7 - Alden Darby, Connor Shaw, Jerick McKinnon, Cody Hoffman, Tre Boston, Sean Parker, Phillip Gaines, Jonathan Newsome, L'Damian Washington, Taylor Hart, Ethan Westbrooks, Storm Johnson, Tevin Reese

I would be almost completely on board with this.

If we want that disruptive 3tech we need to get him at 16/17 even then might be too late.

I like the Mewhort pick for the reason you stated.

I don't know that Marcus Smith lasts to the third round. I think he is a steal there. He has great closing speed, long arms, and awesome awareness. More than adequate pass rusher and sets the edge very well. He might rise.

Isn't he more of a slot WR in the NFL? I'd love Moncrief in round 4. A wide framed WR at 6'2 220-225 who runs crisps routes. Irarely saw him get caught from behind but does seem to lack extra gear.

Don't know much about Bromley but I've heard good things.

I like Millard but with our new play caller, is he still a fit?

I love the two last picks coming in and competing.

Favorite pick is Marcus Smith. Overall I'd be very happy!

Not bad IMHO.
Slot WR is what we lose when we cut Miles in June.

Too high on Mewhort. I'd rather have Koundijio at 17 who I expect to be there and Quarles in round 2.
