2-2 and things looking gloom is what this team needs

First and foremost I would like to say that the Denver Broncos played a whale of a game last night. Typically when the Dallas Cowboys lose, at least recently, they lose by beating themselves. Yesterdays loss was a lot more of the Denver Broncos winning than the Dallas Cowboys losing. With that out of the way I honestly think sitting at 2-2 is what this team needs and here is why. This team is usually a fast starting team and as we all know, this team usually fades down the stretch. Obviously things are different this year, and we are not off to such a great start. In my opinion only 1 of 2 things can happen and if you ask me, both are positives.

Option 1 is that this team gets their act together and things slowly but surely turn around and maybe we get hot at the right time for a change! The defense is starting to gel and has really been playing well lately. Now it is time to see if the offense can pick things up.

Option 2 is the team continues on its current course and we finish this season at or around .500. The best part about that is there will be changes. If this team finishes 8-8 we will have a new head football coach with a potentially brand new staff. The only problem here is that there is a strong likelihood Jerry wont hire the right guy for the job, however, if we finish at 8-8 we will know Wade isn't the right guy and he will be out for certain.

All in all, if you ask me, while things are looking pretty gloomy right now, it is what is best for this franchise in the long haul. Here is turning it around in 09 and if that does not happen then making the right changes for 2010!

I never said they were the better team, guy. The better team does not always win.

Have you actually looked at the second half schedule? And what proof do you have that this bunch is capable of turning things around?

Gee Thanks, Wade will be fired and replaced by Garrett.

My bad. Thought that's what you meant by saying Denver won instead of Dallas losing.

I think this year is going to be pivotal for this team, from evaluating coaches all the way to seeing if Romo will be a franchise player or another journeyman quarterback. If neither the coaches or the players can put it together, this organization needs to look in another direction.
