Some thing I have heard. The two sides are not as close initially as they though they might be to start negotiations.

Thanks man, it's pretty much a dream draft for me because if I land 2 players off my wish list it's been a good year. Notice I don't even pretend to be Jerry. His first round picks have been predictable for the last 6+ years. After that who knows so with no first, I'm hoping for one of these players!

He's definitely talking. It will come down to if Carolina can get a deal done with Gross or not. They will franchise him if they can't and that means Peppers is a UFA.
