What school is Kolb from? I think Tate may become a starter someday in the league after riding the pine for awhile, I got to see him a few times this year not too bad, but not too good in the big games either.

we might as well just go into the season w/ Matt Baker as the backup, at least he has a year in the system over the rookies, and is pretty talented

I agree with Summer. If you can believe what is reported, the Cowboys like Baker. It would be a better move for us to sign a vet and let Baker continue to develop. Three QBs on the roster with one season of starting experience between them does not sound ideal to me.

I was impressed with Kolb this season. I know the argument on him will be was it the system at the UH or does this kid have legit talent. Hopefully things like the senior bowl will help determine it. The guy does have a strong arm and is quick and accurate with his throws.

No way we draft a QB for backup. We have the kid from NC for third string/practice squad... We will pick up a VETERAN qb to back up Romo.

I really can't say what Tate's problem is but he had the physical abilities to succeed, a decent cast around him and a coach who has shown an ability to maximize a QB's potential. Maybe he just doesn't "get it" upstairs.
