Sorry for the lack of columns. I'm trying to get that corrected.

PS: I had to do it manually. Hope this is not a repost. I would like to hear about the rosters. I don't follow the players coming out anymore. All I get is from my youngest son who is going to replace Mel. No bragging. That kid is a walking encyclopedia about these players. Not sure to worry or be thankful.

Players I will be most interested in watching:

South Team
4 David Irons DB 5-10 188 Auburn (seems like a gamer)
19 Brandon Meriweather DB 6-0 190 Miami (character concerns, size)
21 Johnnie Lee Higgins WR 6-0 184 UTEP
25 Michael Coe DB 6-1 190 Alabama State (moving up, athletic)
27 Michael Griffin DB 6-1 205 Texas
28 Lorenzo Booker RB 5-10 191 Florida State (solid hands, at least a 3rd down back)
29 Jonathan Wade DB 6-0 190 Tennessee (looked good in practice)
30 Earl Everett LB 6-2 227 Florida
31 Aaron Ross DB 6-0 191 Texas (one year wonder?)
49 Patrick Willis LB 6-2 230 Ole Miss
51 Mansfield Wrotto OL 6-3 315 Georgia Tech
63 Justin Blalock OL 6-4 332 Texas (most likely a guard, not OT)
66 Tony Ugoh OL 6-5 305 Arkansas (needs another year or so)
69 Ben Grubbs OL 6-3 302 Auburn
72 Tank Tyler DL 6-2 310 N.C. State
73 Joe Staley OL 6-6 300 Central Michigan
76 Tim Duckworth OL 6-5 312 Auburn
78 Arron Sears OL 6-4 330 Tennessee (OG, late 1st round/ 2nd round pick)
80 Dwayne Bowe WR 6-1 201 LSU (hands seem a little questionable)
80 Tim Crowder DE 6-4 270 Texas
90 Antonio Johnson DL 6-3 303 Mississippi State (good in practice this week)
93 Ryan McBean DL 6-5 285 Oklahoma State (on the move)
94 Quentin Moses DE 6-6 250 Georgia (linebacker, lack of heart?)
95 Ray McDonald DE 6-3 276 Florida

North Team
1 Paul Williams WR 6-2 210 Fresno State (good speed, hands)
2 Aundrae Allison WR 6-0 188 East Carolina
4 Josh Wilson DB 5-9 184 Maryland (top speed, had 1 bad day of practice)
5 Drew Stanton QB 6-3 235 Michigan State (seems to be doing well)
6 Prescott Burgess LB 6-3 245 Michigan
7 Brandon Myles WR 6-1 190 West Virginia (later riser, solid practice week)
13 Daymeion Hughes DB 5-11 185 California (above McCauley now, bad back this week, might not be playing)
17 Marcus McCauley DB 6-1 199 Fresno State (needs a good game, lost in zone coverage)
23 Brian Leonard FB 6-1 238 Rutgers (good weapon, solid hands)
29 Leon Hall DB 5-11 195 Michigan (lack of speed hurts him)
30 Aaron Rouse DB 6-4 213 Virginia Tech (seemed to cover well this week, some questions about his coverage skills)
32 Eric Weddle DB 5-11 201 Utah (safety for sure IMO, not a CB, looks to be a good special teams player)
45 David Harris LB 6-2 239 Michigan
49 Anthony Spencer DE/OLB 6-3 262 Purdue (OLB? pass rusher we need?)
52 Brandon Mebane DL 6-1 300 California (gets a solid push up the gut)
63 Manuel Ramirez OL 6-4 329 Texas Tech (big and strong, not so agile)
67 Levi Brown OL 6-5 325 Penn State (stock went up this week, has done well)
73 Marshal Yanda OL 6-4 295 Iowa
75 Josh Beekman OL 6-2 314 Boston College
80 Jason Hill WR 6-0 210 Washington State
81 Ben Patrick TE 6-4 270 Delaware (late addition, looks the role)
90 Quinn Pitcock DL 6-3 300 Ohio State
91 Amobi Okoye DL 6-2 312 Louisville (young, very quick, weighed in at 287)
92 Adam Carriker DE 6-6 290 Nebraska (been a monster all week, 3-4 DE??)
95 Victor Abiamiri DE 6-4 268 Notre Dame (another OLB possibility)

Ross hasn't been a 1 year wonder by any means. He has just not been a full time defensive starter his entire career. When he moved in as the full-time starter he has been a very good player.

He has always been a very nice punt returner too.

We passed on Nathan Vasher a few years ago..............we better not pass on Ross this year.
