No arguments from me. If I had it to do over, I would take a DT in round 1 for Carolina, but Vaccaro seems like the clear #1 safety prospect and it was a position of need for the Panthers.

I won't argue with my grade - looking back I should've kept all my picks. I didn't feel like I reached for Justin Hunter.

It seems like people grade drafts more harshly for teams that have <4 picks.

They do.

I really liked the pick of Hunter. Not so much Milliner at 6.

Another good year, thanks for setting it up risen. Surprised that Philly was graded so low. I really liked their draft.

Funny-Kruger got a vote for best value pick and for reach.

I had a feeling that might happen since CBS has him as a seventh rounder which to me is complete poppycock. I'm really big on the guy and if the Boys stayed in the 3-4, would have been a great fit, just as he would with the Niners.

I have a distinct advantage in the voting because people send me the grades and they don't want to be rude. I just don't know how else to do it.

If you read the section about grading it says to grade each GM with the ammo they had to work with when they were assigned their team. I don't think many people do that.

It's not a big deal. Nobody cares who wins the grading. It's when you look back in three years and see a quality class that matters.

One man's reach is another man's steal.

It's what I love about the draft.

I was surprised Cincinnati was graded so low. Though they were site picks. Denver is another I had much higher than where they ended up.

I tried to consider the difference between not having a pick and trading away picks.

Another good year, thanks for setting it up risen. Surprised that Philly was graded so low. I really liked their draft.
I had Philly much higher too.

Still think I got robbed with my grade. I got 2 of the highest potential guys in the entire draft in Mingo and Watson. And Slay and Bostic in the 4th are 2 talented guys at positions of need who could challenge for starting spots right away. Not saying I deserve an A because i shouldn't have made that trade, but in the end I got talent. A solid C/C+ is what I would give myself.

It says you highest grade was a 6.
I gave you a 6.5 (or at least that's what my spreadsheet says)
Maybe they dropped the 1/2 pt :)

You can't minimize giving up a 2014 3rd round pick.

Look at supercowboy8 who gave up a 2014 3rd also, but he ended up with and extra 1st rounder in 2013. Even obtaining the extra 1st rounder, he still ranked 20th.

Did you run the numbers on his trade using a trade value chart?

I thought I recall seeing his trade was actually fair.
If so, then there is no ground to stand on in criticizing his trade.

But maybe I am mixing up his trade with a different one. I'm not sure.
