PUMP THE BRAKES!!!

These comparisons are just silly. Let's just say hypothetically that Dak has the same career trajectory as a Foles or RGIII,...what baring does that have on the here and now in a "what have you done for me lately" league? Presently, we are 12-2 thanks in large part to the excellent play of a rookie qb. So what are you chiming.on about, pump the breaks?! Dak is the clear and present starter for this franchise until he proves he can no longer handle the responsibility. It's that simple. Pump the breaks on these ridiculous threads because they are irrelevant to the current state of the team...which is WINNING.

Is this a shot at Wentz? Oh no it's the same old tired shot at Dak.

The haters are about out of material, but there's still some desperation attempts at shots. Dak is going to be our QB for a very long time and if you can't handle that go root for another team, such as Romo's next team.

Dak certainly has his weaknesses, and I am all for a good thread to debate that. This is just trolling 101 though.

This whole concept is over your head isn't it? You don't get the irony at all in what you just said?

We're winning with Dak in the NOW. That's all that matters. These concepts mean nothing in the moment. I guarantee you the 2012 Commanders wouldn't have swapped RGIII for another qb just because they thought he maybe could fall off in the future. It's absurd, and there is absolutely no correlation between the present and what might could be down the line regarding a particular player. The QB is winning as it stands and until he has this impending derailment that you Romo homers insist will happen, the point is moot.

He's not even worth replying to he has had a hate for Dak all season he will continue to hate Dak and I'm hoping he goes and roots for whatever team Romo goes to next season.

Dak just went 32-36 after his owner continues to make little comments about Romo coming back, he has this job on lock down and the haters will just have to deal with it.

It's funny to me how the real board tolls (haters) could fly under the radar when there was still a small sample size of games to pull from and everything was still speculative regarding dak. They had the benefit of doubt in their favor. Now, it is almost unanimous that Dak is the clear starter and these same trolls are being exposed for the non-team fans they really are. I would pull for Romo if he was ushered in though I might not agree with the decision. Don't see that coming from the Romoists for Dak though. They cannot bring themselves to say one positive about the rookie. Shows what they're really about.

Why can't the Dakoffs see this thread for what it is? This is not a hate thread. It is about being careful of anointing too early because history could repeat itself as it has several times in the last few years.

Is labeling Dak the starter because his play presently warrants it, considered anointing in your eyes?

OK...well let me know when we are allowed to be happy that the Cowboys are 12-2.

But what new information are you bringing to the table that hasn't already been discussed here in a thousand other threads to spark this new one?

No. It's the thinking he is the second coming of Brady when we aren't even sure he's not Alex Smith. 14 games does not make a career.

Be happy. Yes, he could flop in year 2 and I don't think he will EVER win 11 games in a row again. We need a successor to Romo and it has just started early.

[QUOTE="65fastback2plus2, post: 7087822, member: 37756 History says he wont be.[/QUOTE]

History says that huh? So there has never been an undrafted free agent/high draft pick that has had a long productive career after their initial first season success?! Is that what you are seriously trying to convince me of.:lmao2:
