That has nothing to do with the question that was asked. You are deflecting. It was a simple hypithetical: Do you or do you not support the kid >>> If <<< he wins the superbowl.
And you keep asking me the same question. Are you ok?

Because you won't answer a simple question. Everyone else sees clearly your hate for Dak gets in the way of even thinking of the possibility. The rest of us (other than a few other silly trolls such as yourself) are enjoying 12-2 while you live in a world of denial and hate.

Yep, he won't provide a straight yes/no answer to a really simple question. He thinks he's the one pulling one over everyone that supports Dak when he's in actuality making himself look foolish.

Why can't the Dakoffs see this thread for what it is? This is not a hate thread. It is about being careful of anointing too early because history could repeat itself as it has several times in the last few years.

So this honestly isn't just trolling? Interesting...

Do people realize also Foles 27-2 year was his SECOND season? In his rookie season he threw for 6 TDs and 5 Interceptions.

The only comparison that makes sense would be RG3 as a rookie, 20 TDs 5 interceptions for RG3 while Dak has had 20 and 4. The difference is RG3 couldn't figure out how to slide and got hurt, and I don't think it's a stretch to say he's a lower IQ QB in general than Dak. If Dak's IQ lowers next season by some kind of head injury, I'll worry. But he is great at avoiding hits, when running I rarely ever see him get hit at all. Plus he's running a true pro offense while RG3's was gimmicky.

So there really is no comparison to what Dak is doing. It's one of the greatest rookie seasons ever and fans should expect him to be better next season, not worse.

Look, I'm a huge Romo fan. I think Romo is the better player and should be playing. I say this based off film, not personal preference. There is a lot of breakdown of this but we won't get into that. This doesn't make me anti Dak.

I think there are some anti Dak out there but I think most fans, OP included, fear Dak's rise will be accompanied with a fall equally as steep as many before him have experienced. At this point in time, I don't think you can argue that Dak could carry some of the teams Romo had to carry. Dak stepped into a perfect situation but perfect situations don't last. The fear, for me at least, is that Dak may never be the guy to lift his team(ala Alex Smith) if he has to be.

I'm a homer but sometimes you have to take the Rose colored glasses off.

Foles was in a gimmick offense that hadn't been figured out, yet. Foles wasn't even a rookie in 2007. The year before he played in a very standard WCO and had a 79.1 QB rating.

Foles' biggest struggle in 2013 was against...the Cowboys.

Why?

Because Monte Kiffin had faced the Chip Kelly offense while he was at USC.

Dak is playing in a very standard Coryell/Zampese style of offense that has been around for decades and has been extremely accurate and rarely runs.

I really have never seen so much complaining over the fact that our QB has our team at 12-2 with a chance at the #1 seed in the NFC. I understand complaining after another great Cowboy flop in December or January that has happened many times in the last 20 years or another mediocre 8-8 season. But really this year? After what we went through last year? None of us know what kind of a QB Dak will turn out to be but so far he's been great. Some are just so blind to their loyalty to Tony. I like Tony too. I wish it could have been different. Things sometimes don't turn out the way you want it to. The Cowboys have to look to the future and the future is bright right now. People should just enjoy the ride.

You've never seen anyone complain about our QB having us at 12-2.

A. Because QB's don't "have/has/etc." their teams anywhere. Teams get to their record as a whole. They are not taken by one player. Only idiots think that.
B. Because nobody is complaining about being 12-2. You people are just making things up to argue against.

Foles' "gimmick" offense was...run plays fast. It didn't take any figuring out.

Some people just don't want to accept the fact that there are many one year wonders in this league and that it is not set in stone that Dak is the future and a franchise QB. They don't care about film study, they don't care about all the players around him, or about being intellectually honest and analytical about his play. Some are deluded by wins and the stupid (yes STUPID) notion that it is a QB thing and not a team thing. Some are deluded by hate for Romo. Others...just like a shiny new toy. None of these people (this not being all Dak super fans, they are not all like this) are objective, however.

How funny, wanting Romo to start because he's the "better qb", and then in the very same breath, turning around and clamoring on about how it is a "team" game and the QB doesn't matter. Do you not see the utterly ridiculous contradiction and double standard your position causes? You're absolutely correct though. It is a team game, and the team doesn't need Romo on the field because they are doing just fine without him. See the holes in your argument? It's so obvious.

Whether it be the QB or the team, you lose.
