On the eve of the draft, I am curious who you guys think is the most overrated prospect.

Last year for me was Warmack and this year sees another guard atop my list in Xavier Sua-Filo.

He is cited as having position flex but he was bad when he moved out to LT in the tape that I saw.

He is cited as being powerful but he has a terrible body and rarely drove DL in the tape that I watched.

He is cited as being athletic but he did not look like a natural bender and his foot and handwork were terrible.

Sturm has him as a top 20 player. Personally, I see him as the third or fourth guard this year. Good prospect but not remotely a first round prospect.

Who do you guys have?

Kareem Martin and Mike Evans.

Evans is good, not a great WR who was made to look better by his physical advantage in college and a QB who was ridiculously good at extending plays.

Martin is a fifth rd type to me. Just don't see any explosion in his game.

Dang we see Evans differently. He made JF look good on a lot of throws he shouldn't have made.

That guy was a flat out stud in college and with his size I can't see how that won't translate to the same at the next level.

KONY 2014

Every Missouri game I watched, Ealy was stuck at the line while Michael Sam was forcing the QB to flee right into Ealy's arms.

Right behind him is Demarcus Lawrence. Last one off the line nearly every snap. No variety to his pass rush, just race wide past the Tackle. Will be run on so bad.

Also agree on Mike Evans. Has some nice skills if he were a TE, but no separation and a lot of his game came from Manziel extending the play.

All of the wide receivers equally. I don't think there is a first rounder in the bunch.

I agree with Kony Ealy. He is best at pash rushing from DT--not all that good from DE. So, as a SDE you don't get much pash rush. Or if you put him at 3 technique, which is where I personally think he belongs, he only weighed in at 273 pounds. That's a pash rush specialist, unless he can put on at least 15 pounds. If he puts on 15 pounds, you don't know if he can still rush the passer. That leaves me thinking he's a 4th round developmental pass rushing 3 technique.

Not only this year......but maybe in the history of the NFL draft. How a guy like this goes in the 1st round...yet a player like Kellen Moore that went 50-3 in college doesn't get drafted is beyond me.

I agree with the OP. I just don't like Sua Filo all that much. Bad body and seemed uncoordinated almost.

If you plan to play him @ tackle....I think your setting yourself up. But @ the Sr Bowl when he was lining up @ G he was tearing people up.

Aaron Donald.

Everyone is sure he's gonna be a pro bowl player, but the guy is 6'0" 280 LBs. There are legitimate doubts about his size a lot of people are conveniently overlooking. One does not simply run around OL in the NFL.

1) Manziel - hype machine - every hi-light they seem to show is him throwing into a mess and his receiver making a play on the ball
2) Savage - really? he goes from being a 6th round-type guy to being high 2nd round? what?
3) Clinton-Dix - late first round guy, sure...middle of first to higher? no
4) Barr - I like his potential and wouldn't mind seeing him on Dallas at all, but some project him around #10...WAY over-hyped
5) Matthews (Jordan) - how did he fly up boards again?

Agree....If he doesn't get off the blocker....he disappears. And that ain't good. but if he gets up field...he can be a disruptive player.

I was watching some tape of Botonio vs UCLA and noticed Barr was getting fooled by the read option really bad. I think people tend to forget he's only got 2 years of playing defense under his belt. I'm getting the impression that is scaring scouts. Tell Barr go get the QB...I think he can do that. But he is far from a finished product as a complete RDE. Can he hold up against the run? I worry he can be fooled because of his lack of experience.

Clowney. Seemed to take last season off. Decided not to do positional drills at the combine. His own coach raised question marks about his work ethic. He may turn out to be a great player in the NFL but it's definitely not a sure thing.

I don't think he has the size to be anything more than situational pass rushing type of DL. He is going to have trouble playing the run with a 330lb OG pushing him around play after play. It is possible that his size will lead to injury after injury.

Agreed on all 3. Although, JFB could be the real deal. I worry about his size and attitude.

Barr may be a bit overhyped, but I don't think he will be a bust. Just don't expect him to be an every down 4-3 end for another year or 2.

I think Matthews will be just fine. Bright kid with solid hands.
