If Romo is back to his healthy 2014 self (which there's no reason to believe he shouldn't be) we could start 4-1 or even 5-0. It's a pretty easy schedule overall, I just hope Romo can stay healthy

At first look, that is about as easy as a schedule as you could possibly hope for. Made even more so with the weak NFC East. If Romo stays healthy and we cant make the playoffs with that schedule, everyone on the Cowboys, front office, and coaching staff should just quit.

Because Fox and CBS have the ability to protect some games

Hopefully this is one of the games they flip networks and CBS has it. Though it would be Nance and Simms. But still better.

He wasn't very healthy in 2014 he spent a good portion of the offseason rehabbing from back surgery and looked pretty stiff the first couple of weeks of the season. He wasn't moving very well but started to improve as the season went on until he suffered another back injury vs Washington. The only thing that kept him on the field for 15 games that season was being able to lean on the running game which kept his passing attempts to a career low.

Well the east may not be as weak this year.
Giants and Commanders always play us tough, and eagles, are a unknown.
the afc div we play is tough, Cin,Pitt,Ravens, all could beat dallas.
The nfc div GB, Minn, could beat us and Det and Chi will be tough games too.

49ers and tampa are the only easy games, and you know how that goes, they may be tough too.
