That is a pretty soft schedule fellas..........I just looked and it is the 27th ranked schedule..........meaning only 5 teams have an easier schedule.

If Garrett and company cant make the playoffs with this soft-arse schedule in freaking year 6 of his reign..........He should be fired on the spot.

Well the east may not be as weak this year.
Giants and Commanders always play us tough, and eagles, are a unknown.
the afc div we play is tough, Cin,Pitt,Ravens, all could beat dallas.
The nfc div GB, Minn, could beat us and Det and Chi will be tough games too.

49ers and tampa are the only easy games, and you know how that goes, they may be tough too.

So all these tough games is why we have the 4th easiest schedule based on last years record?
But I know what you mean. It is not as easy as that stat shows.
GB has the easiest schedule based on last year. But all this changes quickly as the season progresses.

Losing at home to the brownstains would be disastrous. The games I have circled are stealers, ***** packers, and season finale vs the iggles. All road games but wins I really want.

yes and all the cowboy games are close and could go either way.
you cant go by what teams did last year , teams change.
And we may beat GB and lose to cleveland, you never know.

If we were to lose / win games, better to beat the NFC team over the AFC team in this scenario.
right they can throw out all the strength of schedule stuff that want, but teams are different.
With our 4-12 record from 2015, it lowers opponents s.o.s. but also, how many fans are looking at it, thinking, dang, Dallas is not an easy game if they are the 2014 Cowboys and not the 2015 Cowboys.

8-8 or above and he's safe.

exactly, and the opposite is true, in 2015 dallas looked like and added to SOS for other teams,
but then Romo and dez go down , we didnt resign murray, and we wound up 4-12.
A team like Seattle in the SB one year, the next barely makes playoffs, and carolina what 8-8 one year,
the next they are 15-1 and unstoppable.
Things change each season, and this year I think the east div will win more games than last year.

Dallas should be able to win 10 or more games, and be in the playoffs , but that depends on Romo
and if they can protect him better.

Didn't realize the bar has been set so low for a coach entering his 6th season.

And another 8-8 season will mean that Garrett has missed the playoffs 5 out of 6 seasons while having a top 5 QB on the roster.

That would be one hell of an accomplishment, I tell you what.............I wonder where abouts outside the stadium they are going to erect his statue?

With results like this, you got to have a statue, don't you agree? How else are we going to teach future generations of the greatest we are witnessing?

Funny :lmao:

Yeah I think his fans here should donate to the JG statue fund so we can go ahead and erect it.

What pose should he have ??
He could be clapping ?
And it would be in front of the death star of course.

I think dallas should make playoffs, so that will mean another extension for JG.
He would have to do real bad with romo playing to be let go, like no playoffs for 3 years starting
now.
So the bar is kinda low, and romo will keep him above the bar.

Thing is once Romo is gone, then we get to see how JG does without Romo, but I figure
he gets another 5 years after Romo , and if he has 1 playoff year, he gets another 5 years!
kinda like marvin lewis.
Although cin had a good team last year, but the qb got hurt at the worst time.

Week 16

Lions at Cowboys. I will be there with my son. Plane tickets are purchased, still working on hotel reservation. Need some advice on game tickets. Better to purchase them now or wait?

Going there myself. It's hard to say. I got tickets to the Pats game last year, and the prices there were all over the place. High early, then lower when Brady was suspended, then back up again, and lower after Romo got hurt.

they are only tough games because our team is mediocre. For a really good team, this schedule would be a cake walk.

When the Cowboys play at Green Bay, the Packers will be in their 3rd game of 4 straight home games with a bye in there as well.

I'm not sure of your point. Is it the league favors the Packers or hates the Cowboys? The Packers later have a stretch of away games, so they aren't getting preferential treatment by the league. Dallas getting a virtual 2nd bye week to rest every year by playing on Thanksgiving day doesn't really bode well to an argument that the league hates the Cowboys.

I did not make any comment about preferential treatment or complain about the schedule. Just pointing out something in the schedule that I read in MMQB this morning. Every team's schedule has good and bad stretches.
BTW, every team in the NFL gets to play a game on a Thursday and gets a virtual 2nd bye week.
