A great list...except for the kicker. I think I'd rather them give it to the rookie Dak instead of a football non-combatant.

Shows a lot of bias. Dan Bailey is a leader of our special teams, not only as a star player but as someone who shows other players how you prepare and better yourself as a player. He is the most consistent player on our team and is well deserving of the title captain.

Frederick over Dez....well ok

Frederick is definitely a better leader on this team than Dez. First, he is the leader of the offensive line hands down. Tyron might be the standout and Zack Martin might be a prodigy, and La'El Collins might have the potential to be a monster, Frederick is what holds this great line together.

Bryant isn't that kind of a leader. There is no question how the leadership works on this defense. I would give the C to Tyron Smith before giving it to Dez.

As for the defense, I think Byron Jones will take that C from Church pretty soon. Think this is his last year with it.

If you listen to the OL talk Free is that guy. Frederick as far as playing wise keeps the line together.

I agree with Jones over Church and Lee will be captain even when he retires haha.

I see leadership from Dez more then most. Irvin was the same way, very vocal and was a motivator.

I have no problem with Frederick over Dez was just saying personally I thought Dez would be next in line
