I love Giannis. Here is my thing though. He is a non shooter approaching 30. Can you guarantee me his game ages well?

As it is right now, he presents a real challenge for whoever has him because of his poor free throw shooting. Thats something that can make his team very inefficient in crunch time. I think a team trading for Giannis should do so with a short window in mind. And they have to have someone else they are comfortable with with the ball in their hands in crunch time. I think thats the idea with Dame, but the rest of that core is crumbling. I had to take a pause from this reply to look up and see if Khris Middleton is even in the league anymore lol
He will be an issue as he gets older but I mean look at Lebron…these guys are freaks. Football related but I always said Byron Jones would fall off soon as his athletic ability would leave. He was such a freak athlete and he wasn’t gonna make it to 30 in the NFL. I think Giannis will be ok until late 30s. These players don’t even play 82 games anymore.

No most people don’t need a basketball coach to advise them outside of the three point circle and pick and roll issues …if they enlighten you mazel tov .
What I mean is people having a voice and freedom of speech is what’s needed. Especially a guy who literally fought for this country. We aren’t going to always agree with each other but he’s not qualified because what? He’s a basketball coach? He’s also Air Force.

Like I said if he enlightens you that’s very warm and fuzzy . MM and the ESPN noise center should concentrate on the collapsing Cowboys I’ll get my worldwide opinions and knowledge elsewhere .

Especially when guys like Popoffvich and Cuban are flamethrowers offer nothing of consequence . If you can’t understand that that’s your right , I’ll press ignore on the Mavs owners thinking on who strong smart women are to offer one example . Watch it Jane Slater Cuban might throw some bricks your way .

I never said it enlighten me. But I agree just mute them. That’s typically what I do when I don’t want to hear comments from certain people.

If Wemby gets his 3 pt down like this and still has the post game whenever he wants, dude will be unstoppable.

Don't know what was in the air in the NBA last night, but scoring went crazy. Giannis with 59, Wemby with 50, KAT with 46 and a few others with 40+. Even 73 yr old LeBron had a 35pt triple double. NBA season heating up early, gonna be a fun ride!

A couple big developments from the Celtics early in the season:

-Payton Pritchard has taken a big step up. Averaging 16 points on 47/42/88 shooting. He has gone from capable backup able to put up a big game to something the Celtics have lacked. Dangerous microwave scorer off the bench

-Neemius Queta has been very productive on the interior. Particularly the glass. This is big for a team that has wonder when Al Horford Civil War injuries will catch up to them, and missed Porzingis most of the playoffs. Kornet and Tillman were good enough last year, but now they have more of a menu

I always get lucky and the Spurs seem to start winning again when the Cowboys suck. Excited about this team! I knew Castle was going to be a dawg! So freaking glad those losers in Kentucky didn’t make their way to SA. Last thing I need to watch are more chokers after these recent Cowboys seasons. So much young talent, and so many draft picks in their pocket.. they could go out midseason and get anyone they want. And how about Barnes showing everyone what the Mavs and Kings never appreciated! Going to be hard for me to stomach Pop’s return if Mitch Johnson keeps this up!

The Nuggets need to consider benching Murray for Westbrook. Westbrook has developed good chemistry with Jokic and is pressing way too much when Jokic is not on the floor, while Murray is out of shape, can't create separation and is the worst defender they have.

Dubs looking good early this season. Buddy Hield has basically taken the place of Klay and provided and provided a bit more consistency offensively. Melton has also played well and actually taken minutes from B. Podz and giving the team an actual PG when Curry is off the floor.

Having two “big” guys in Looney and Trace Jackson-Davis really helps this team. Our depth is as good as it’s been in years.
i get the depth thing. The bad thing about that, at times they actually play better than the starters with aging stars. GS, as flashy as they can be doesn't play 48 minutes and seem to too just hang on late and ending of game.

Something tells me there's lots of behind the scene action going on.

Tough division.
