CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
We are always setting the bar higher and setting dubious records that hadn't been achieved in the long storied and proud history of the franchise.....just unbelievable.

i know someone will bring up the bills or the raiders or the browns...but i honestly believe no fanbase in sports has suffered the way cowboys fans have the last 5 years. no fanbase has to endure such cruelty and embarrassment in defeat.

Going 0-16 couldn't have been easy for Lions fans.

We invent more ways to lose than any other team in the league.

It's absolutely amazing. Other teams may lose more games, but no one loses like us. I mean excruciating, heart-ripping, improbable losses, each one worse than the last.

We lose games no one in NFL history loses.
We lose games with the highest QB ratings ever.
We lose games by blowing leads that have never been blown before.
We lose games that have mathematical probabilities of 99 percent of winning.

wow word for word exactly what I was saying earlier today.. haha right on

LOL. I guess I can laugh, although I was so annoyed in the game. When the announcers were talking like we had the game won, I kept yelling, "Shut up! It's not over." It was like they were jinxing it ... and wouldn't you know .....

if we are winning by a td or less and the other team is getting the ball back with 30 seconds left no timeouts.. at this point I am scared

LOL. I honestly think all these insane losses that happen at the cusp of victory have scarred me emotionally.

me too, its so damn frustrating!

I rarely feel like the game is safe to call a win and had a sense of dread in that Detroit & Denver game

I was in the process of looking up all the games they've played the past few years to come up with a count of heart breaking losses, I knew there were a lot but I didn't think it would be that many, even if you discount a few.

This era of Cowboys football is like the polar opposite of the games I watched in the 70's when you never stopped watching when they were losing because you knew they might come back & win and they usually did.

I'd "like" your post but I just can't do it so I'll just say it's absolutely sickening to see it happen over and over again

the whole organization needs an enima

It sucks. I should have been jumping up and down when Twill took that pass all the way for a 10 point lead in the 4th. Shoulda been ecstatic when Dez made that great TD. Instead both times I'm immediately thinking "we are only up 10 and there is time left we will blow it".

Can't even enjoy our players make great plays. It sucks

Sad thing is that in his now 3 years of coaching Garrett has been a part of more than half of those games as a head coach, and almost all as a coach with the Cowboys

On a side note, most memorable Halloween was watching Emmitt run all over the Eagles 20 years ago............wow I am getting old and miss the good old days when a team looked and played like a well oiled machine

True. But it's still a lopsided amount of "crazy losses" to "improbable wins".

Honestly, I can only think of 2 crazy wins.

2007 @buffalo
2012 @cincy

I'm tired of being on the wrong side of stuff like that

Here are some wild ones I can remember that went our way... opponents might feel these were crazy losses for them...

2007@ buffalo
2007 @ detroit
2009 @ KC
2009 @ NO
2009 vs NYG
2012 @ Cincy
2012 vs Pittsburgh

That's the game where we debated for about 2 years whether it was Roy Williams or Aaron Glenn who screwed that up, right?

For the record I still say it was Aaron Glenn's responsibility, but that Roy had been exposed anyway.

also the game where Greg Ellis was the victim of an obvious hold and it was not called...........the OT basically undressed him on the field, but no flag. Instead it was the game winning TD for the skins.
