Obviously this is a hypothetical situation but if these 2 guys were on the board who would you pick and why? Don't give me some garbage about not liking their school either, that's ********. And I know many want a CB as do I but I'm looking for an objective perspective on these two guys only.

I would look for better value or trade down. They will still be there 6 picks later.

I would take Malcolm Kelly. For one, I believe we need a WR more than a RB and you can find a descent RB in the 2nd round to back up Barber, and two, I like Big WR's that also has descent speed and that fits Kelly. What I really want us to do is get a CB with the 1st pick.

Assuming both are elite players or good players on the same skill/talent level, you take the wide receiver.

This is a deep draft for running backs. And running backs are a dime a dozen.

Chances are if we pass on Jones, we'll pick up a Rice or Johnson or Hart in lower rounds to augment Marion Barber. But the drop off will probably be noticeable at the wide receiver position.

Having said that, I think Felix Jones is more talented than Malcolm Kelly, and following the BPA theory, I would take him over Jones.

My scenario only applies to if they are of equal talent. I'm not that convinced of Kelly's talent and potential.

Reasoning: I've seen Kelly in the teens in most mock drafts. He's big and makes big catches. I'd def prefer him

kelly because barber should get a nice chunk of change and if we draft a rb in the 1st round he will also want a nice chunk of change. plus a lot of good rb's in this draft

Is choice C neither? Cause I'd take a corner with that pick over either of those guys. If not, then I'd take Kelly since we can always grab a backup to Barber in a later round (deep draft for RB) and WR talent diminishes pretty quickly after the 1st round and certainly after the 2nd.

Its his pet cat but i just think its more about people getting excited about him freaking out, banging his head into things and wearing a mohawk than it is rational thought about how he could help the team.

I think Schmitt could help, just don't like how theo is always bagging on Deon Anderson, it's consumed him, idk, maybe we should each chip in 1 cent to buy him a new, pet cricket, since it's obvious that Deon ate his

the other part is I don't like the thought of using a high draft pick on a position that's not even featured in our offense, Barber runs better out of a one-back set anyways, and a 2-TE offense is more explosive than a 2-back one, I say we build w/ that and utilize Fasano like we should, the potential is just sickening

feel fortunate you got that much from me.

I've said the same exact thing before....that a Fasano/Witten tandem with 2 WRs poses more problems to a defense than a 2 back set.
So i just agreed with you because I do agree with you.
