How do ya like them apples? :)

Williams
Cole World
Romo
Randle
Dez
That Oline
& everyone on the defensive side of the ball...

Manly efforts all the way around! I always have to poke myself to level set when I start feeling this way. Ahhhh. There. Back to reality.

What is reality? Great question! Reality is operating with the understanding that you are only as good as the sum of your parts today. What have you done for me lately clearly applies in our circles. The team is focused and becoming more and more dedicated to "team" vs the individual effort. Forget focusing on things that don't matter RIGHT NOW. The only thing that matters is the work put in this week and the result achieved at the end of the week. Rah Rah is for minds filled with delusion. Thankfully, it appears the the coaching staff is preaching the same. Great win yesterday. Period.

I'm not worried about Detroit either. We will be prepared to bring the pain.

Johnson will get his but I'm not afraid of Bush or Stafford. Bush is a poor mans Shady McCoy and you saw how we bottled him up. Their D-line will be a big test for us but I expect Dez to have a monster game.

Call me crazy but I firmly believe that Carr will keep Megaton in check all day.

Here's why you should be concerned. We have yet to stop a good QB who uses running backs and tight ends effectively of which Detroit has both.

If we can figure that out against Detroit then get the Vikings at home we would be in pretty good shape at 6-3 and 6-0 in the conference.

their starting tight end has a lot of drops and the other guy just catches touchdowns in the redzone

I think we should be concerned,or worried, about every team, and game on our schedule.I don't think we're good enough not to be.

Kind of odd the way things have gone and are shaping up.

Dallas hasn't played a team that isn't from an East or West division....meaningless but I've never seen. Guess I've never really cared to.

Back-to-back AFCW weeks with San Diego and Denver.

Back-to-back NFCE weeks with Washington and Philly.

Upcoming back-to-back NFCN weeks with Detroit and Minnesota.

Later, another back-to-back NFCN combo with Chicago and Green Bay.

Ending with another back-to-back NFCE combo at Washington and against Philly.

With the current state of the NFCE Dallas has a pretty favorable remaining schedule. I wouldn't have projected 10 wins with a 4-3 start but with the combination of the NFCE and Minnesota being far worse than I had anticipated, it's not that far out there. I think Dallas can sweep the East with the Commanders game being the one I would worry most about.

^^Pretty much agree. I thought we would win 11 games coming into the season. Really the only game we lost against a team we were probably better than is San Diego. Losing to Denver(even though we basically blew that one) or Kansas City is something I would have expected coming into the season. I didn't know KC would be this good coming in but I thought they would be a much improved team and tough for anyone to beat.

Love the position we are in, with having many of the tie breakers in our favor.

Its really unlikely we sweep the East. If we beat Detroit in Detroit, I'll start getting excited.

This is the most important stat for the Cowboys... 3-0

Followed closely by 0-3 vs good teams

So let's summarize

4-0 vs bad to horrible teams
0-3 vs good to undefeated teams

We better get better or that will bite us in the buttocks real, real soon(er) or later

I concur. I have seen the potential of this Cowboys team on both sides of the ball and I'm no longer taking a hopeful stance, I'm taking an expectant one. I expect us to lay a massive beat down on the Lions because I think we're that much better than them, top to bottom.

Eagles and Rams are 3-4, and the Chargers are only 4-3. Care to explain what your criteria is saying a one win difference makes a team good or bad?

Here's another thing. If the Cowboys lost to the Eagles and Rams, they would be 4-3 respectively meaning that the Cowboys are 0-5 vs good to undefeated teams?

The Chiefs have only beaten one team with a winning record: Cowboys. Oh but they must be frauds right?
