MIAMI, FLA.: MARCH 3 Every team was represented at one of the annual Pro Day hot spots. Of note, Jags head coach Jack Del Rio was there, as were GMs Bruce Allen (Bucs), Matt Millen (Lions) and Floyd Reese (Titans). The players ran outdoors on grass. PlayerPositionGil's comments

Roscoe Parrish WR The people we talked to said Parrish did everything and more, including running routes, catching punts and speeding around as quick as two cats. He measured in at 5-9¾ and 170 pounds, did 10 reps, had a 10-5½ long jump, a 36-inch vertical, ran 4.47 and 4.40 in his 40s (which compares favorably to his 4.43 time at the combine). He also had a 4.22 short shuttle, an 11.08 long shuttle and a 6.69 in the cone drill.

Antrel Rolle CB Rolle (6-0 5/8, 197) ran twice for times of 4.49 and 4.52. He had a 37-inch vertical jump, a 10-foot-3 long jump, a 4.01 in the short shuttle, an 11.43 in the long shuttle, and a 6.70 in the three-cone drill.

Brock Berlin QB Berlin (6-1 3/8, 215) had a 9-foot-1 long jump, a 30-inch vertical, a 4.45 in the short shuttle, and ran his 40s in 4.94 and 4.95. He did not do the three-cone drill.

Kevin Everett TE Everett had a left shoulder operation on Jan. 5, 2005, so he did not work out.

Frank Gore RB Gore was 5-9 5/8 and 208 pounds, which was down from his playing weight of 230. He did 15 strength reps, had a 9-foot-1 long jump, a 32-inch vertical jump, a 4.13 short shuttle, an 11.33 long shuttle, a 7.78 in the three-cone drill, and times of 4.66 and 4.65 in the 40.

Chris Myers OL Myers (6-4½, 301) had an 8-foot-10 long jump, a 32-inch vertical jump, a 4.38 in the short shuttle, a 7.38 in the cone drill, and strained his hamstring, leaving him with just one 40 time: 5.15.

MISSOURI: MARCH 3 Although Missouri held its pro day on the same day as Miami's, 18 teams sent representatives, including Cincinnati defensive coordinator Chuck Bresnahan, who has a former Tiger, Justin Smith, playing defensive end. This is a favorite stop for scouts because the staff is so well-organized and everything goes like clockwork. The players ran indoors on an artificial surface. PlayerPositionGil's comments

C.J. Mosley DT Mosley (6-1 7/8, 312 pounds) ran his 40s in 5.09, 5.09 and 5.10. He did 27 bench presses and had an 8-foot-6 broad jump. He did everything else at the combine last week.

Attiyah Ellison DT Ellison (6-3¾, 305) ran his 40s in 4.95, 4.98 and 4.96. He lifted the bar 26 times. He did everything else at the combine last week.

Damien Nash RB Nash (5-9 5/8, 218), who is leaving school a year early, ran his 40s in 4.56, 4.60, 4.57 and 4.54. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.25 seconds, the three-cone drill in 6.91, and the long shuttle in 11.57. He had 19 bench presses, a 9-foot-4 broad jump and a 30-inch vertical jump.

Victor Sesay TE Sesay (6-5 1/8, 279) ran his 40s in 4.90, 4.90, 4.88. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.33 seconds, the three-cone drill in 7.46 and the long shuttle in 11.98. He had 20 bench presses, a 9-foot broad jump and a 28½-inch vertical jump.

Shirdonya Mitchell DB Mitchell (5-11 1/8, 189) might have been the story of the day, because he wasn't invited to the combine. He ran his 40s in 4.40, 4.33, 4.39 and 4.35. He had 17 bench presses and ran the short shuttle in 3.92 seconds. Then he got hurt running the cone drill, so he did not run the long shuttle.

James Kinney LB Kinney (6-0½, 244) had some very impressive stats for a linebacker. He ran his 40s in 4.64, 4.62 and 4.63. He also ran the short shuttle in 4.32 seconds, the three-cone drill in 6.77 and the long shuttle in 11.29. He had 30 bench presses, a 10-foot broad jump and a 34-inch vertical jump.

Gore did that at 208! Good heavens. If he's struggling to break 4.7 at that weight, that's not good at all. Bulk him back up to 230 and he's running in stride with Maurice. He must have looked like a different player after dropping 20+ pounds. I'm sure the coaches wanted him lean and mean, but it looks like all they got was lean.

Thanks for posting.

Gore will drop now. I wouldn't mind drafting him in the 6th or 7th if he's available. I don't care how fast he is, he can run the football.

And it's funny they call it a "Long jump". It's not the long jump, it's a "Broad Jump". Big difference.
