...When this season ends...La Roi Glover will still be starting the Pro Bowl a 6th Straight year....Don't take this pitbull for granted.....Fergie is "nice" he's no Glover...Glover is still our top Defensive player...more consistent than Roy...I don't see his name in positive light around here too much.

I thought he did the work....He's not a Nose tackle....but he's as strong as a Bull - Officially glover is listed as the NFL's strongest man ...I believe he benched 225 (the measuring stick) some impressive amount of times...'
His game is angles and speed - he's been undersized for years..but it's all technique with him....
If he has to play NT...he'll do it like an All -Pro...if had to play DE....he'd do it like an All -Pro....He reminds me very very much of Joe Klecko ...an All Pro at all 3 different line spots.

When i was younger i worked at one of the restaurants owned by J Klecko. It had a big bar section, space for live music and 1 pool table off to the side. Every once in a while he'd come in with a bunch of miller lite girls as a promo and we'd have live music and he'd play pool with the miller lite girls. Always a good time. I was one of the first ones off after dinner rush was over and my manager used to buy us drinks all night and put it on Joe's tab. Klecko was a down to earth fun kind of guy, pretty laid back actually.

That's cool man. Glover benches 225 30+ plus and he's 1st team guy. I'm so excited about the depth we have now. Spears, Fergueson, Ellis 1st and then Canty, Glover and Coleman. Ratcliff can play both ends.

We can't play the 3-4 defence as a base if Glover is the starting NT. With Fergurson holding the starting position, well be fine. But without Fergurson, we can't run the 3-4 fulltime. Glover will get destroy in the run

Plain and simple...Glover is a football player. That's it. He's gonna perform. I also like how he hasn't whined about having to play nose in a 3-4 and all this. The guy is a class act, and we should be showing him more love. He will be a monster in nickel this year.

But yea you are right. Plus he will be a lot fresher to put pressure on the QB late.
