Sheesh. Talk about still getting in our own way.

First Hurd lays out Witten on a really nice 20 plus yard reception, knocking the ball away. (was Hurd running the wrong route? Looked like he was trying to strip or interfere with a possible interception and he ends up separating the ball from Witten).

Then Newman is returning a punt and ends up with his helmet directly in the gut of one our blockers.

On another play, 3 Cowboys knocked each other somewhat silly trying to get an interception (we continue to drop a bunch of those).

All that being said, we did a number on the Titans today, although I was a tad crabby when it was only 14 to 6 and you had to wonder if it was going to be another "here we go again" although it never felt that way.

Nice to see the Defense get some points and get some deserved turnovers. Pressure was there on Young all day, even with backups applying decent heat. Nice pick by Glenn. Nice TD by James. Great moves and alertness by Watkins, too bad he didn't get the TD, it was a real nice return. Roy was at his tackling best. I thought the Titan WR's and RB's all were gun shy all game, hesitating before the 1st down mark and getting pummelled by Roy and the DB's for it. They looks scared out there.

Watkins helmet came off and he kept running. That was awesome. Strange that no one has mentioned it. Reminded me of Keyshawn a couple of years ago.

yea.......the one hurd did on witten really sucked..
that was a great throw by bledsoe.

in all fairness though............roy had a few good hits too.

The Hurd hit on Witten didnt hurt so bad because we had illegal hands to the face on Terry Glenn. I believe that would have negated the gain regardless.
