Tyron, Zack Martin, and Frederick lead in Pro Bowl fan voting for their respective positions. Murray is also leading the voting for RB.

I know that Pro-bowl fan voting barely registers as news... but since it's the bye week I figured what the heck....

"...Manning is the leader in fan voting for the Pro Bowl, the NFL announced today. Manning is followed byAndrew Luck, Aaron Rodgers, DeMarco Murray, Tom Brady, Le’Veon Bell, Antonio Brown, Philip Rivers, Arian Foster and Matt Forte. With no linemen or defensive players among the top vote getters, it appears that a lot of fans are voting only for skill position players and then leaving the rest of their ballots blank.

Leading vote getters at the other positions are Packers fullback John Kuhn, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Cowboys offensive tackle Tyron Smith, Cowboys guard Zack Martin, Cowboys center Travis Frederick, Patriots kicker Stephen Gostkowski, Falcons return specialist Devin Hester, Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, Bills defensive tackle Marcell Dareus, Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller, Panthers inside linebacker Luke Keuchly, Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller, Giants strong safety Antrel Rolle, Browns free safety Tashaun Gipson, Washington punter Tress Way and Patriots special teamer Matt Slater...."

I now quit wondering why this franchise is on a solid stance, with the mention of Tyron Smith, Zack Martin, and Travis Frederick leaders in Pro Bowl votings...as that points the way it is done, despite the tar buckets and feather piles in the corner for the media and some ring tapping fans as well.

No argument on any of those, of the three OL Tyron Smith has probably been more questionable than the other two.

There have only been two guards to make the Pro Bowl as a rookie in the last 50 years. Chris Hinton in 1983, and Kyle Long as an injury replacement last year.

Hinton was a good one. Surprised Kyle long made it.
